Friday night 21.13. I’m just waiting in my Tuktuk for some last service in Praça do Comércio.
3 guys are coming to me, - Are you free?
- Yes.
- We would like a tour! We need to show the city to our friend.
- Ok you can chose the time of the tour. Here are the prices.
Discussing the prices they start speaking Russian. They look… hmmm.. Ukrainian, I decide. I start speaking Russian too.
- Are you from Ukraine 🇺🇦? they ask me.
- From Russia 🇷🇺 but don’t kill me please🙏, - I’m joking with them.
The smiles on their faces grew wider.
- If FROM RUSSIA here you go, - and they give me 70€ instead of 50€ for a 30 min tour. - And we’re from Moldavia, they say!
….. Awwww BROTHERS, THIS MEANS THE WORLD FOR ME right now ❤️❤️❤️

Our 30 min tour around the night magical illuminated ancient city of Lisbon was extended to 1 hour. Btw at 22.00 I had an appointment for an interview with one Indian guy who wants to work on my Tuktuk. So I said to my Moldovan tourists, - It’s because of your tour that I keep him waiting so you have to talk to him for me.

And they did. In my presence ofc.

We ended up in the Time Out market eating grilled octopuses, drinking Aperol Spritz & discussing the Slavic brothers history of friendship & other stuff.

In the end they said that they had to drive me home in their car after I put my Tuktuk in the garage at midnight. “Oh do you? Ok sure!” They also said they wanted to take me to their house, but I excused myself, I explained I had to have a really good night sleep in my house to be ready for a hard working Saturday, but thanks for offering.

Altogether, it was nice to spend time with Slavic Brothers (we don’t have tourists from there anymore now) because they’re always gentlemen unlike those in the Western Europe, Eastern men have it in their blood with the milk of a mother that they have to take care of a woman. Well, at least the best of them like these 3.
