Well how much fun did we have on board the Celebrity Constellation cruise to Italy, Croatia, and Montenegro! I’m so very grateful to the 24 awesome people from Canada, USA, Scotland, who joined Jim and me in my group. We toured, hiked, ate, sang, danced, drank, played games, lost at trivia, and made new friends as we all got to know each other. Thank you all for making this such a great experience and for making my role easy.

This is my second trip to Petra in Jordan and Iam again wowed! The 2km walk from the visitor centre to the Treasury starts with a dirt road, then an incredible sandstone canyon, before opening up to the incredible Treasury.

Barely 36 hours in Jordan and we’ve already experienced and learned so much! Welcomed aboard our 10 1/2 hour flight by flight staff in traditional Bedouin clothing, landed in Amman and drove 2 hours to have lunch at GAdventures Planterra project that employees 25 local women, swam in the Dead Sea, enjoyed a White Night dinner, a day of presentations by travel suppliers, then a Bedouin dinner in traditional dress. The staff here are so excited to have us share in their cultural traditions!

Out of office until June 11. I’m super excited to be heading back to Jordan where my Travel Agency is celebrating its 10th anniversary by holding our annual conference in Jordan. I’ll be attending lots of training sessions, meeting with suppliers to learn about their products and what destinations they offer, and we’ll even have a little time to visit the incredible sights of Jordan. As the only true ocean liner in the world, the Queen Mary 2 has a different shaped hull that cuts through waves and swells. We had 5.2 meter waves on our voyage and barely felt a thing.
