We wrapped up our wedding anniversary and our last night in Paris with a nighttime cruise on the Seine. Merveilleux!
Kelly went on her own to the Frida Kahlo Experience, set up just down the street from our Airbnb.
The San Isidro festivities kept us out past midnight, when fireworks concluded the live entertainment. The streets were still packed when we walked home to turn in for the day.
Took the train from Barcelona to Zaragoza. On our one night here we wandered into El Casco and joined the locals on their paseo. In addition to seeing the beautiful cathedral at sunset, we were treated to some people dancing the tango in the plaza.

It's salmon spawning season so we were able to see these coho make the attempt up the cascades in the Sol Duc River.
They've built an underwater viewing area for the fish ladder at the Ballard Locks. In addition to the migrating salmon, we also watched a number of small boats "lock through."
As you approach this part of the river, the cliffs seem to open or close, hence the moniker "Gates of the Mountain." This is a video of the "gates" closing.
