Four years ago I hiked by this place and thought to myself that would be an awesome place to stay. Bhanjyang Village is rustic but an incredible place to take in sarankot with views you don't quite get from the lookout tower. Being the only ones on your own little hilltop lookout is also a sweet break from the crowds. I did share the comedic side of being their on dipuwali night in a blog post

Big moon last night - got to Swayambhu Stupa a little late. Some great vid shots of the myriad of monkeys that were out and about. Tempted to go grab that moon tonight and get there in time for the rise
