Hocking Hills is a great place for hiking and escaping to nature and that includes when the sun sets! Star gazing is spectacular in the region. You can visit the The John Glenn Astronomy Park where this photo was taken, stop by Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery on Friday nights to lay out a blanket and have a glass of wine or simply walk out onto the deck at Fern Hill to make a few wishes.

This weekend is the height of the Perseid meteor shower so be sure to take a moment to look up and enjoy the show!

Our friends up the road have released some new wines for Spring! With the woods coming back to life and the flowers sprouting we stopped in to taste a few things and loved the Catawba release. When you stay with us be sure to pop up the road and visit Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery. It's less than a mile away and certainly worth the visit!

We have been working on a little "glow up" at Fern Hill this month and wanted to share a progress shot! We swapped out the old formica countertop and double sink for some beautiful granite and wide single basin sink. The faucet went in yesterday and we're so excited to brighten up Fern Hill. We are so proud and honored to be Superhosts again! We have achieved it since our initial start in 2019 because our goal is always to make sure guests have an excellent experience and leave with wonderful memories to look back on. This really made us smile and I love knowing that kids are making great memories at our cabin. We were lucky to have this hand-written note left for us recently and we hope Fern Hill can bring you a little joy today. It sure warmed our hearts and this is why we do what we do.

Our friends up the road at Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery released their Strawberry wine earlier this month and it's a best way to enjoy that last taste of summer and celebrate the beginning of fall. We are less than a mile from the winery and we make a point to stop in every time we stay at Fern Hill. We hope you get the chance to enjoy it too!
