This announcement caused by the landslide on 23rd August at Kata area, it may cause from this construction. We will update you on further updates, right now there is no information on re-opening. Traditional Thai’s New Year. People gather to the temple, making merit, bring the sand back to the temple, pouring water onto monks and elders to ask for blessing. Later get ready to the water fight.
A special tree for this festival called “Dok Koon” or Cassia Fistula that blooms during this festival. We, Thai people spend 4 months to celebrate New Years. The traditional is beautifully, blessings, and enjoyment.

Need an advice:
We're working to have 0 plastics during the tour. We provided cold water in the bottles but a lot of tourists they don't want to drink even we've tried to explain that is the same water in the plastic bottles, not tab water.
