I was 6 when I discovered my love for the environment through a picture book of people, places and things. 🥰
It sparked my interest in Geology and Geography - which fuels my love for .
My visit to the Grand Canyon - one of the of the World is a major highlight of all my travels. It feels amazing to see the places and things I’ve read about in real life. 🌄
How does what you love influence the trips you take and the countries you visit? ⌨👇🏾
The night before this photo was taken, I read a fun fact about solo travel in China - solo black travelers are often bombarded for photos. 🤷🏾♀
I made a mental note for future travels.
I went to the top of the world’s tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai on the last day of my 20’s. 👀👀I was bomb rushed for photos by about 6 Chinese people. 😂
Plus side: they agreed to take a few photos of me. Those photos are my only non selfie photos up there 💁🏾♀
Solo travel has its awkward moments, but take the plunge! Come join in on our trip to Morocco. I’d definitely be happy to take photos that capture all your memories! Tell us about your unusual travel experiences in the comments below! 👇🏾⌨
Xoxo,
Anna
My trips are about authentic experiences of foreign cultures.
I made it to Kandy, on the full moon, which I didn’t know was special to Buddhists until I arrived.
Everyone was at the temple, offering prayers.
Of more than 3,000 photos, this is my favourite. Why? Because it captured the essence of the Sri Lankan people so well. Warm and friendly, simple and prayerful.
