Growing up we traveled every summer and I loved seeing new places and learning about new areas. Now I love to see new places through the eyes of my girls. In September of 2014 I started on this journey that allows me to help other families enjoy traveling, even if they don't like the planning portion. It's the holidays at Walt Disney World. And you can see many characters in their holiday outfits.

When you visit the Disney resorts during a holiday they offer special themed treats. This waffle cone is available at the Bubble Waffle stand in Disney Springs.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

This is an extra event in the Magic Kingdom with special characters, treats, parade and fireworks. If you are headed down this season let's see if we can add this special event to your itinerary.

If you have ever attended, what was your favorite part? Mine is the characters, so many villains that you cannot meet on a regular park day.

Another great family vacation option is Universal Studios, in Orlando or Hollywood. Orlando has 2 theme parks and a water park currently, with Epic Universe opening in 2025. Hollywood currently has Super Nintendo Land.

Either are great options for movie buffs and/or thrill riders. Visit the Wizarding World, eat at Minions Cafe or visit the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park.

Disney Destinations were the first ones I started booking when I became a travel agent. Disney has been part of my life for years, my parents took me when I was little and then I took my girls when they were little. It became a family tradition and we have visited Disney World in Florida, Disneyland in California, and done a Disney cruise including their private island.

I can help with any of these and Adventures by Disney trips. We can book your vacation with a deposit now and payments until closer to your trip date. Those amounts and dates will change based on which Disney destination you choose. The earlier we book, the better the pricing and availability will be.

If you are thinking Christmas 2024, Spring or Summer 2025 let me know what dates so I can work up some options for you.

Today I went back to school and I'm guessing many of you will be getting yourself, kids or grandkids ready to do the same soon. Going back is always good for me to get back into a routine, even though it can take a few days to get back in the flow. Even though the routine is great, I do like to have a vacation countdown going. Right now I have two. First a cruise with my sister to Western Caribbean in 2 months and then in January to watch my daughter and son-in-law run the Disney D***y races.

Today is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.

While not a great picture, it is an amazing sandwich. You can get this at several of the food courts and at the Plaza Ice Cream shop at Walt Disney World. We chose chocolate chip cookies and chocolate ice cream.

I thought I would introduce myself to those who don't know me personally.

I love to travel and have a goal to get to all 50 states in the next 5 years or so. I have been a travel agent close to 10 years now and have helped many families plan their vacations to destinations that include theme parks, cruises and all inclusive resort.

Besides planning and booking travel I am a high school teacher and mom to 2 young adult daughters and mother in law to 1 son in law. I love to read, do jigsaw puzzles, and hang out with friends and family.
