Lady Manners School Buxton Transport Association Lady Manners School Buxton Transport Association (LMSBTA) Membership of the Association is open to the parents and carers of children officially using the bus.

LMSBTA was set up by a group of parents to arrange a private bus service for children at Lady Manners School in Bakewell. The bus is a 50 seater coach, owned and operated by Lathkill Coaches. It leaves the market place in Buxton each day at 8.15am, and also picks up shortly after outside Tesco Express. For enquiries please contact Urs Hancox at [email protected]

The waiting list policy is that s

iblings of children currently on the bus take priority, followed by children in Ys 7 to 11, then children in Ys 12 and 13. Once you have a place on the bus, it is yours unless you give it up, or fail to pay. The cost of the bus next year from September 2015 is ~£900 per person.

The LMS Buxton school bus has been cancelled due to severe whether conditions.

The service will continue as before with the same collection times as well as the same route.

Andrews Coaches will be using this page to advise if the coach service is affected by poor weather conditions.

It leaves the market place in Buxton each day at 8.10am, and also picks up shortly after outside Tesco Express.

The cost of the bus this year was £880 per person (the more places taken on the bus the lower the cost).

As places at school have been confirmed it is time to start getting the list together for coach spaces next year.
If your child has a place at Lady Manners and would be interested in using the coach please could you contact me ASAP to get their name on the list.
The more students we have the cheaper the cost so if you are aware of others who may need a space please ask them to contact me with the name, year of entry and contact information - email, phone and address.
