Our Story

World Travel Agency, LLC is a Virtuoso Member Travel Advisor Agency and is an independent affiliate of Andavo Travel. Our boutique travel advisor agency is owned and operated by Michael and Cheryl LaBaw. We are a husband and wife team dedicated to collaborating with our clients to insure they travel well. See our Mission, Vision Value Statement, we are passionate about every word written there. While World Travel Agency, LLC is a new company, neither of us are new to the travel industry. Cheryl worked 33 years for United Airlines in several departments including reservations, city ticket office, customer service and in-flight (flight attendant). Michael’s sold vacation weeks for several luxury resorts throughout Mexico for the past 15 years. We oversee and live on a small sustainable farm and ranch in Washington and recently sold the call center business that Michael founded 30 years ago. We have 3 octogenarian parents, 5 adult children that span the ages from 40 to 21 and one grandchild and consequently have a first-hand understanding of family and multigenerational travel. Typically our clients are seeking authentic experiences, rest and relaxation, spending time reconnecting with loved ones and often re-discovering previously visited destinations and exploring new ones. We created the agency to combine our passion for travel with our desire to assist others enhance the value of their travel experiences. It is a business of details. We want to insure that all aspects of a trip are a good fit for our clients. To that end, we are resolute in totally understanding the goals, objectives and budgets of our clients and to present them with multiple alternatives for fun, educational and relaxing travel. Whether you are planning for a short weekend getaway, a week of skiing, a week at the beach, a safari, a luxury river or ocean cruise, a romantic honeymoon, an anniversary or group or corporate travel, call us today!
