Transgender Talent Transgender Talent is a company connecting talented transgender people in the worldwide to Producers, Directors, Casting Directors, and more.

To contact us, please visit our website:
transgendertalent.com After appearing on Glee in early 2015, it became apparent to Ann Thomas, that there was no simple way to connect producers, directors, and casting agents with the transgender talent anywhere in the country. It greatly narrowed the opportunities for many talented individuals. Unless you’re well connected already, or get lucky with being

discovered on YouTube, you end up mixed in with non-transgender people, all vying for recognition. Within the category of transgender, they might be looking for different looks and types of transgender people. Being as we’re part of that community, Ann and her staff have a much better idea of what the transgender community needs are. They can help interpret the needs of production staff, and educate them on any aspects they are missing that need clarity. They want to provide support for actors, musicians, dancers, models, public speakers, behind the scenes staff, and more as this company expands gradually with time. Ann formed Transgender Talent LLC, to fill this gap in May of 2015. Now expanded into producing, Transgender Talent is partnering with a number of individuals and firms to create content acceptable to regional, national, and global markets.

In December of 2016, I had the fortune of both performing on the stage at the Beverly Hilton, as well as making one of the signs for the parking garage they were building next to it at the time. In the photo below, I'm posing with the sign - made of stainless steel that is embedded into the concrete wall, and will be for decades to come. The other photo is me on the stage, wearing a white belt on my black dress in the front row. It was well attended and I recognized many of the audience members who were celebrities coming to show support for the Trevor Project.

Tonight, January 7, 2024, is the Golden Globes award show, taking place on the same stage I performed on. All those folks getting awards and in the audience could be driving by the sign I made.

Please help me to stay afloat so that some day I can be back on that stage, or in the audience in support of someone whose career I've helped.

Ann is A LOT of fun and isn't afraid to tell it like it is!

She talks through the unique challenges trans & non-binary actors can face on set; in audition rooms; and in closed-door meetings.

November 20th is Transgender Day Of Remembrance.

Each year, we remember the names of our transgender and nonbinary siblings lost to transphobia-driven violence.

Today we mourn. Tomorrow, we make a better world.

So proud of our friend D'Lo and the success of his show at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre! Changing the world for trans entertainers, one gender joke at a time. 🏳️‍⚧️✨ A throwback to when Transgender Talent’s Ann Thomas and Kendra Neuberger first saw it at the Los Angeles LGBT Center—can’t wait to see where it goes next. Last chance to let him make you laugh is tomorrow, don’t miss out!

As Ann once said in Rolling Stone (“Inside First Hollywood Talent Agency for Trans People,” 2016):

"You can’t just say, “From now on it will be all trans people playing trans roles.” You’re not going to see that happen overnight. I believe we should have that eventually, but it’s going to take a while to get to that point. I’m going to really go out on a limb here and say that I think it’s going to be through trans men. Every trans man I have met and worked with has been just the most gentlemanly kind, nice thoughtful person I have ever met, and far more of a man than I could have been back before I transitioned."

ID: Kendra Neuberger, D’Lo, and Ann Thomas smile for a picture together after D’Lo’s performance.

Posted • America's LBGTQ+ Youth are Under Attack - THE ADVOCATE celebrates 20 Advocates for Change, featuring our client ZOEY LUNA, who at only 20 has proven to be one of the loudest activists out there. So proud ZOEY!

ZOEY LUNA (center) is a trans Latina actress and singer and an activist for her communities. She is the subject of the documentary Raising Zoey, which integrates her life as a high school student with activism around trans students’ rights, immigration, and peer advocacy. She continues to fight for LGBTQ+ youth as rightwing attacks heat up. (she starred in THE CRAFT LEGACY and many other projects to date)

Swipe left for all the covers.
