ABeC is focused on the integration of the diverse functions of a building envelope and can offers a complete range of consulting services through all phases of design and construction in order to develop economically efficient and functioning solutions. We can help you from conceptual design through final punch-list inspection, or during any particular phase or for any portion of a project. We can support you during Schematic Desig, Design Development, Negotiation, Installation and final Handover. Our clients are Private clients, Designers, Main contractors and Façade contractors. Basic pre-construction services by phase include system design, engineering, documentation + specification, and bidding (tendering). During Construction Administration, our services can include mock-up review and testing, shop drawing and submittals review, quality-control and inspections on site, in the factory and during fabrication and assembly, and at the various material suppliers. The façade of a building is one of the most expensive elements of building construction and can represent up to 25% of a construction budget. Through the application of highly specialised skills the ABeC Consultants will co-ordinate the various technological demands of the building envelope to meet the required design criteria. ABeC Consultants provides independent façade consultancy for design, procurement and construction advice on all aspects of façade engineering and building envelopes across the world. ABeC as independent specialist consultancy, including some or all of the below tasks, as determined by the project needs:
• Solving complex geometry facades through 3D parametric modelling
• Building performance and thermal analysis
• Wind load calculations and lateral force (and advise to Architects)
• Fire proofing analysis for the building envelope
• Structural analysis to result in minimised structure and cost
• BMU consultancy & cleaning strategy to ensure the design considers all aspects

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project management is an empowered function at ABeC, and key to our success. Following the contract award, ABeC will provide technical and a full quality-control oversight throughout:
Negotiation:
Produce performance specifications for the façade systems and materials proposed for tendering
Attend interviews. Review and report on tender packages from subcontractors, drawings, calculations and price issuing tender queries where more information is required
Comment and make recommendations for subcontractor
Report to client and architects over findings of final technical tender offers and provide a ranking recommendation on technical aspects of submission
Installation:
From submittals review, testing, fabrication, and installation, on behalf of the architect and owner
Assist with the comprehensive realization of the building envelope from time schedule control and installation lead time
Handover:
Manufacturing & Fabrication facility inspections
Site inspections and surveys
Performance test witness
