What a beautiful weekend for a get together! There were a few fish, a few laughs, some stressful situations, but overall....it was pretty darn good. Good to see people that we go to long in between seeing, good to catch up, good to relax....

It was so good to see everyone again....it gets to be a LONG time in-between. Most of us are back to work tomorrow (myself included), but I'll be adding photos as time allows. Feel free to post your own pictures, we always look forward to seeing them!

Fishing report update: Had an excellent weekend fishing, between Jim, John, Jankah & I, we put an estimated 60 walleyes in the boat (under 15 inches with a few keepers). Male walleye seem to be biting, no females. We are talking about heading to the Mississippi next weekend for some perch and walleye....what is everybody else doing? Keep us updated!!

FINALLY some news to share...there will be a tournament/get-together on August 17! Breakfast at the Royal Cafe in Coloma at 6:00 am, fishing afterwards, then food & fun!

Newest update on Winnie, weather has been corporating. The snow is melting fast, and a great forecast for the weekend of the 28th-31st. This is the weekend! Will keep you all informed as the days come closer. I know this weekend will be rough for some to make because of Easter, but we cannot argue with the wonderful weather. This will hopefully not be the only time going up there this year. If you can't make it that weekend, hopefully we will be returning in a week or two.

Lake Winnie apparantly still has over 3 feet of snow...now it's a matter of watching and waiting for it to melt before we can catch the jumbo perch. We'll keep you updated :) In the meantime, please feel free to add any photos of you and your catch!
