🔻 Historical Significance: The square was inaugurated on March 6, 1961, to mark Ghana’s independence from British rule. The Independence Arch stands tall, representing the nation’s journey to freedom.
🔻 Cultural Events: Black Star Square is a hub for major national events and celebrations, including Independence Day parades and other cultural festivities.
