A Real Treat

Seems like forever ago already. This was an awesome group of bi***es to revisit Bali with. There were plenty of laughs, even a few tears, shopping, dancing, massages, awesome food, some s**t food too. We met some awesome people, old friends and new friends and most of us decided to mark the memorable trip with a lifelong souvenir.

What an amazing time we’ve had so far. There’s been a touch of everything…just as I always envisage for my Retreats.
Today we headed to higher ground - testing our fears on a glass bottom bridge, suspended over rushing rapids. The bravest of the brave put their trust in some high quality Balinese rope swings. I had a frightening encounter with a deadly snake and we arrived at our bamboo eco villas and finished the day off in the pool with a late night swim. Selemat Malam from Ubud.

When I cancelled my last Bali retreat because a worldwide pandemic was looming- I never dreamt it would be 3 years before I would start planning a return to my happy place.
What I discovered in this time, was that taking these short breaks and spending time getting to know new people or spending quality time with old friends outside of day-to-day life, surrounded by spiritual beauty, was a survival technique for me.
Having a forced Bali hiatus, made me step out of survival mode and make some big life decisions.
I’ve entered a new phase of my life and I’m ready to rediscover the Island of the Gods.
Pencil in some time for yourself…and come along and explore Bali.
