Dear Friends and Colleagues from Renaissance Chancery Court London I bet you did not know, but our fab Mauricio Coimbra, ex Banqueting Do-It-All-with-a-HUGE-Smile-and Can-Do-Attitude every year has a SUPER MEGA important Job! He becomes FATHER CHRISTMAS to a group of underprivileged children in Curitiba, Brazil. Every year he begs and borrows money to buy dolls, balls, toys for these children and provide them with some escapism from their daily hard lives. Mauricio also cooks "marmitas" (hot packed meals in a polystyrene pots) for the homeless - Curitiba is a very cold city, winter you get MINUS temperatures!!! But Mauricio is a quiet, secret worker bee and does not like to impose and ask for favours!!! But the number of children are growing and so is the number of homeless people! So in the TRUE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS, I am tagging you all hoping that you could all donate GBP 10 in order to put a smile for 1 day in all of these downcast humans. The exchange rate from UK to Brazil is 4,92, meaning your money is worth nearly 5 times more than ours!!! I still have a bank account in the UK so I am pulling your heart strings here hoping that each of you could spare GBP 10.
