My first trips to Italy and France as a child ignited my passion for food!
Every year for about 4 years, my father and mother would pack us into our car and we would drive through Sicily, Italy, Switzerland, France till we reached our final destination: England! Our stops through cities, but most especially the countryside, aroused a love for mouthwatering food, which was simply, but exquisitely prepared! I cannot but mention the fact that I come from a family where several aunts and a grandma were fabulous cooks! Invites to Sunday lunches would mean delectable, enticing food, some of which would have been baked in a traditional, local, woodfired, bakery rendering the dish even more heavenly! Maltese food ranks up there as it takes local produce in season to its zenith! I want to share this love and passion for food with you and hope that you too, will become as excited as I am!
