Humorous Hiking Story🦉🐍: what have we been up to since closing The Bootique? Lots! One goal was to hike more. We had never been to Neale Woods - shocking, but true. I HIGHLY recommend it btw. Anyways, here we are just walking along the Raccoon Trail, having fun, enjoying nature, looking for neat fungi. Just then something plops in front of us on the trail about 3 feet ahead. We think, a branch falling + good timing. We investigate. It was, in fact, not a branch. It was a good size headless garter snake. I'm not afraid of snakes, and Adrian loves snakes. BUT - I launched into a full-blown panic-dance that included covering my head and yelling "are snakes falling from the trees?!" (like...that's what nightmares are made of, amIright?) Adrian looks up to see an owl swoop by and we can only guess this pretty lady was taking the snake to feed her owlets and dropped it by mistake. So, that will go down in our history as the day we had a snake...fall from the sky.
The fireflies totally add the ambiance of Spirits of Sarpy this time of year! Spooky stories, a little walk through the woods, lightning bugs = fantastic Saturday night! THIS Sat June 22nd from 8:30 to 10pm. Hope to see you there!

Take a casual 90 minute walk with us through a set of beautiful woods in Sarpy County (location is revealed after purchase). Our adventure will take us on a single-file walking trail as we explore some ghostly stories and tales of true crimes. This tour is VERY often also a nature tour lol - deer, raccoons, and owls love to listen to the stories, as well! Ages 12+. This location does have inclines and declines, and we walk along a slim dirt path through the woods. You will need to hop over tree roots a few times. I bring the flashlights, bugspray, and glowsticks - you just need to bring a good set of sneakers!

What Is Spirits of Sarpy Ghost Tour?
This location holds the trophy for being the only place where a group of adults RAN out of the woods. The tour is about 50% paranormal, 50% true crime. We walk about ½ mile through the woods on a dirt path....sometimes in the dark 👻 spooooky!
This tour has inclines and declines, and you will need to hop over tree roots a few times. This tour lasts about 90 minutes. We will meet at a location in Bellevue, and go on a nice little walk in the woods! Location is revealed after purchase. Ages 12+.
