Who, What, When, Where, Why? **WHERE** I currently offer six different ghost tours across various locations in the city, ranging from Bellevue to North Omaha. Occasionally, I add a seventh tour, Secrets of Sasquatch. Over the years, I've retired a few tours and often consider introducing new ones.

The exact meeting location for each tour is revealed only after purchase for a few reasons:
1) It ensures that only ticket holders show up.
2) It prevents people from researching the history of the locations before the tour, allowing you to experience the stories firsthand.
3) Keeping is semi-secret is mysterious and fun.

Who, What, WHEN, Where, Why? When do I offer outdoor ghost tours? Very soon! Season 9 kicks off on April 11th. Most tours take place on Friday and Saturday nights, but Haunted History of Benson is usually a weeknight (for better parking and fewer crowds). I also like to mix in the occasional weeknight tour because I realize not everyone works the Monday to Friday schedule! Tours run through Halloween and may even extend into early November, depending on the weather. I do occasionally take weekends off - so we can go camping, look for Sasquatch, go to Glore Psychiatric Museum, and things of that nature.

Imagine any other tour you’ve been on, like a brewery or an old mansion. The guide walks you around, sharing how the beer is made or the history of the mansion. You look around, you ooh and aah, and ask questions. It’s pretty much the same vibe with us! Each tour dives into the darker history of the location, ghostly legends, and true crime stories. Day 2 of Who, What, When, Where, Why Midwest Paranormal History Tours Saga.
Here's a second post to add to the WHO section:
While I'm the tour guide, my phenomenal boyfriend Adrian is just as much a part of this as I am! We’re like peas and carrots, and he joins me on every tour (except for the private bachelorette parties, lol). Adrian’s been fascinated by the paranormal since he was young, making him the perfect partner both in life and in this adventure! We actually met at (be still, my heart) Malvern Manor. He often tells stories on tours and in classes, helps immensely with research, is a pro at brainstorming, and he’s always game for anything spooky. Together, we own Sword & Shield Pest & Termite here in Omaha. Outside of work, we love camping, hiking, gardening, traveling, and watching baseball. We’re just your typical family—except we also spend time off-grid searching for cryptids! *pics of us actually looking for 👀cryptids*

It's almost time for Season NINE of Midwest Paranormal History Tours! Each year, I like to revisit the basics for anyone new to our page who wants to learn more about what to expect before joining a tour. I’ve always stuck to the classic who, what, when, where, and why – because those simple questions are just as important now as they were in elementary school! So here we go:
WHO: I'm Jamie, the proud owner of Midwest Paranormal History Tours since the summer of 2017. That’s right – 100% LOCALLY owned and operated! I grew up in western Nebraska, where my childhood haunted house sparked my passion for the paranormal. After living in Las Vegas and North Carolina, I returned to Omaha in 2010, where I now reside in Benson with my family. I love researching, storytelling, diving into a good Stephen King book, the outdoors, and looking for Sasquatch and UFOs with my amazing family!

This is our newest tour, just added in Autumn of 2024 (and quickly one of my favorites). Take a nice relaxing walk through the dark woods with us and hear mysterious paranormal legends, tales of cryptids that may lurk behind the trees, discuss Missing 411 cases, and more. Tis the Season! Season NINE of Outdoor Ghost Tours begins April 11th! We are kicking off with the most popular - Spirits of Sarpy. April is always *weather permitting*: it must be at least 45 degrees at the beginning of the tour (7pm), it cannot be lightening, raining, or snowing! If the tour is a no-go due to a freak snowstorm or something, you can get a refund or reschedule to a later date. Hope to see you out there!!

Here’s one of our most unnervingly and popular spots, where a group of adults once fled the woods in sheer terror! This tour is a spine-chilling blend of 50% paranormal phenomena and 50% true crime, weaving together a tapestry of dread and mystery.
