Just dropping in to say hi, and check that you are doing ok during these crazy times (photo taken about 4 weeks ago – before the crazy). Many, if not most of us, could not have known 2020 would have turned our worlds upside down, and had us where we are (wherever we are). Each of us have our own different circumstances, but we are all impacted globally by COVID-19. During these times it’s important to try to be emotionally kind to ourselves and each other. Physical activity is known to keep our mental health in check, and can soothe a troubled soul. Some of us have had to curtail riding for a little while. Many of us have more time on our hands than we had before….
Each country, and states in those countries have different levels of restrictions, designed to keep as many people safe as possible and ease the emergency services load. I don’t want this post to get into who should do or not do what – everyone here can get that information anywhere else.
I do want this post to focus on (family friendly) activities/hobbies/past times that you are doing to help ease your emotional load at this time. Maybe someone who is looking for inspiration for something to do can get some ideas here, and can find a new activity for a bit. Kinda like we have had to do at times when we cant ride for some injury or another.
Is it painting, sewing, knitting, wood turning, pottery, poetry, home gym, landscaping the yard, binge watching TV or mosaics ? Maybe building model cars/planes/boats, lego, musical instruments, dancing, singing ?
What is it that eases your emotional load at this time ?
