Our first stop on this trip was Universal with a stay at Cabana Bay Resort 🏄
For a value resort, this one can’t be beat. Amazing 50’s surfer theming. Standard rooms, suites, and interior or exterior entry rooms are all options. Which means lots of price points. But even the suites are insanely reasonable!
Plus tons of recreation. There’s two pools (one with a water slide and the other a lazy river), an arcade, a bowling alley, and a malt shoppe.
Such a great value and a fun resort 😍
At Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights we celebrated the holidays in style. Aaaaaand we walked over 21,000 steps EACH NIGHT. So my @thighsociety shorties were a lifesaver as always! The chafing is real at Disney and these are my secret weapon.
It was hot on my party day (thanks Orlando 😅) so I went with The Cooling shorties. But I’m also a huge fan of The Cargo shorties since they have a pocket for my phone. Why every dress doesn’t have pockets is beyond me. But these solve that problem!!

I got in line at 5:30pm. They let us inside at 6:10pm. The dwarfs came out at 6:15pm. I met them and took photos at 6:55pm.
Yes. That’s a long wait. BUUUUT you won’t find all 7 dwarfs meeting together anywhere else. Plus I didn’t miss a minute of actual party time!
And let’s not forget… they haven’t had a meet since 2019!!
Ok but peoplemover is still my favorite ride.

It took me *forever* to build… but I finally finished my 1988 Disney Main Street play set. I had this exact set as a kid, and my husband found it and gave it to me as a gift.

Here is a Tron POV ride video. Keep in mind phones MUST be put away securely on the ride. I filmed this using a DJI Osmo Action camera and chest strap. I was lucky enough to be seated in the front row on this ride (thank you to the cast member who assigned me that spot!!).
The ride is a lot of fun. I rode 3 times and each ride photo I have a giant smile on my face!
