Its been a while since we posted a trip report but this was one which we organized for a corporate team building event. We decided to go to a new location for this trip which ended up being a great find. Sweihan is a beautiful place with huge sand dunes and lots of greenery in the surrounding areas. The wildlife which was seen was a real treat for our customers such as camel spiders, scorpions, lizards and plenty of bugs. Looking forward to next season to introduce the next bunch of adventurers to this beautiful country.

It has been a busy 2 weeks on the bird front as this is rescue No.4, He was flying around in a warehouse when it decided to play chicken with a glass window. Thankfully after losing the battle and completely knocking himself out I managed to catch him and take him for a full checkup. The owl AKA "Tiny" is doing well and will be set free once we have fattened him up a little.

Rescue No.3 we couldn't say no to rescuing this goshawk which was in the souq with a badly damaged eye. She has made a full recovery after some TLC (minus the eye) and some help from the vets.

This trip turned out to be a great experience for the Wild Fly staff as well as the kids as we had some students which had joined us previously on some trips. Skills which some of our adventurers had learnt on the previous trips were tested and they passed with flying colours. It is a great feeling watching students share their knowledge with their friends with such enthusiasm as it shows our programs not only work but they have fun learning it.

As the season has started again and the weather is perfect we decided to try a spot in southern Oman which has been on the list for a while. Not only was this spot great for the bushcraft practise but we managed to break out our new inflatable rib and catch some awesome fish. This location will definitely be a new destination for the extreme adventurer to explore the wilderness, or families who wish to have a relaxing weekend whilst camping in paradise.
