Kansas Motorcycle Works Independence-Freedom-Tradition Kansas Motorcycle Works (KMW) began as a collaboration between US and Belgian counterparts in 2011.

The brand-name is new to the V-Twin OEM marketplace but the guys behind the name are not. Founded by Matt Moore and Ivan Dewit, KMWs experience dates back to the early ‘90s.Taking lessons from such names as Big Dog Motorcycles, Ultra Cycles, and Volvo Automotive; KMW shares extensive experience in manufacturing, engineering, and distribution. The company is built upon a framework of best-practices

in both business-design and product-design that facilitates sales and service on a global scale.KMW officially opened the doors of its new Wichita, Kansas-based headquarters in January 2013 and the Olmen, Belgium facility shortly after.The first prototypes were completed and debuted in May 2013 at the Big Bike Europe expo in Essen, Germany. The Motorcycles carry a full “Certificate-of-Conformity” AKA “Type Approval” that certify the motorcycles conform to road-going regulations in Europe and most other countries in the world.
