This is the most exciting thing that happened to us in Memphis, me trying to fit a king size 3” thick foam mattress back into a box that was made for a much smaller object. Full disclosure, we were only in Memphis for about 24 hours, but we didn’t have a pleasant experience. We stayed at a basic RV “resort” (I love how they call them resorts🙃) right behind Graceland and we found that area to be very dirty and run down. Sorry Elvis but your street Elvis Presley Blvd is a bit of a dump. We skipped going into Graceland b/c we’re not super fans and it’s quite pricey. Instead we opted to check out a local “healthy” organic restaurant for brunch. We didn’t get past the front entrance before turning politely on our heals and heading back to the rig. We could smell the place (not in a good way) before we got to the door. Memphis for us was a big “no thanks”. Granted we didn’t go into the city and check it out proper and I’m sure there are nice areas. Our advice to the city: make your #1 attraction a bit nicer and it may entice people to check out more of your city. Clean it up at least. Maybe next time. Let us know in the comments what we missed in Memphis as I’m sure there are some cool things to experience for next time.

One of the things we love about traveling is experiencing different music, food, people, and cultures of each unique area. When you’re in Nashville, you’ve got to go to the Grand Ole Opry, right? Awesome date night out with wifey. Here’s a quick recap.
When you’re up to creating big things in life, sometimes you’re tested… that’s what’s happening to us right now in getting our RV🙃. The great news is that we finally closed on our RV today!!! Yay! More pics etc coming soon. It’s a 2018 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 35P in great condition with just over 8k miles on it. I’m stoked.😎 Mayumi is not in a place of excitement just yet, as there has been so many challenges in this process of purchasing an RV and transforming our lives to the freedom lifestyle that we so desire. Having said that, there’s also been many miracles along the way In the process of selling our Fiat electric car, buying a used Jeep Wrangler, fixing said Jeep many time’s (ha ha), finding awesome tenants/roommates for the first four months of our trip, and buying an amazing RV that we will call home for many months in the next year or so. I believe we have been divinely guided through this whole process, and even when it has gotten really challenging, there has always been a message to receive once we slow down and look and listen. So here we are sitting at the park in San Francisco staring out at the ocean, looking and listening for the next step in the process; finding a way to get our newly purchased RV from Ohio to San Diego in the next few days given that our shipper just bailed on us due to a sudden death in the family. Doh! We got this and we will get out on the road in the next few weeks no matter what! One this is for sure, it’ll be a hell of a story to share the process that we have gone through over the last several months in preparation for living our desired freedom lifestyle. Hopefully we’ll be able to help other lifestyle entrepreneurs seeking more freedom and adventure in their lives. See you on the road😎🚌
Day 1 Match 1 of the @officialapptour SoCal Classic Pickleball tournament and boy did I have the jitters. I felt very similar to when I have a large speaking engagement, filled with nervous excitement. How I calm myself down before speaking gigs is by saying to myself “I am about to do something of significance”. Playing Pickleball is not quite as significant as impacting lives through my speaking. So I haven’t yet figured out my strategy for getting into my zone for Pickleball tournaments. Any suggestions, please let me know.😎 @alohamayumi @clintonspeaks

So, what do you do when you’re driving on the highway on your way to pickleball and you look out your passenger window only to see a long haired wiener dog ‘tear assing’ down the side of the highway? Well if you’re with my wife @alohamayumi who I think likes animals more than humans😜, then you screech to a halt on the side of the road. So begins ‘the chase’. I jump out to try to be the hero and now I’m lugging down the highway with my untied pickleball shoes barely hanging onto my feet, with Mayumi following behind in the car. At this moment, an entire multi lane highway is at a halt watching our buffoonery. All of a sudden I look across the road and see this overweight guy hauling ass and definitely in full wiener chase mode. We’re not alone. I find out later he’d been chasing him from the other side of the highway for about a mile.😆 Now all lanes are stopped and starting to creep forward at a cautious 2 mph, and picture this, wild Willy the wiener dog is proudly and almost arrogantly leading the charge running straight down the middle of the road. Mayumi gets anxious and takes off in the car to cut him off. I’m still chasing but this little guy is running like Secretariot and I’m getting tired. Forget about the other dude. He didn’t have a chance. All of a sudden I see Mayumi running diagonally across the highway in full pursuit and now has another younger woman with fresh legs overtaking her in the chase, and I almost lost it nervously laughing as this is a multi lane highway with many cars building up and wanting to pass through. I finally catch up to our car and jump in like we’re playing leapfrog running and driving. I signal the poor overweight dude to get in with me. So now he and I are blasting down the side of the highway passing the parked cars until we catch up to Mayumi and wild Willy. Me and the passenger look over to a stopped car in the middle of
the highway and assume the worst. Luckily Willy finally ran out of gas fr

Health and mobility are such luxuries...! Wouldn’t you agree? I’m so grateful for my health and my mobility and the freedom it affords me. Take advantage of them while you have them and go out into nature and explore all the beauty and wonder that the world has to offer! #ClubFreedom #ClubFreedomLive @sequoiakingsnps #Adventure
What if you could meet a living being who is over 2,000 years old...?
Well you can... not a human being, but a sentient being nonetheless. Some of these Sequoia trees are well over 2,000 years old and are absolutely majestic and filled with wisdom. That to me is mind blowing and such an honor and joy to experience. This is our second time to
@sequoiakingsnps and will definitely not be our last. Thank you nature.😊#ClubFreedom
You become what you consistently practice. So practice consistently what you want to become! The Pickleball pros say to practice 70% of the time and play only 30% if you want to actually compete and win in tournaments. So that’s what @alohamayumi and I are doing on our quest to win GOLD in our first @usapickleball sanctioned tournament coming up in June ! @officialapptour @bobbyriggsracketandpaddle @niupipopickleball @pickleplayapp @zone4pickleball @clintonspeaks
We got the Jeep going but hit some snags. I think we need a new battery🙃. First Jeep’in expedition was thru the burbs and my first curb jump got nixed by the wifey. It was at an elementary school so I’ll give her that... next time it’s on!😛
So the Jeep has arrived but not without a funny first story. #ClubFreedom #ClubFreedomLive #JeepWrangler
