A set of construction documents for a barn/house have come to fruition. The CDs, drafted by r.j. zepol, architect approved, were used by the owner/builders for their home on an island in Ohio, completed this summer. Some of the sheets used are shown here.

These are the 2 design boards Kohler Architecture entered for me, a PM for KA, in the Drylands Design Competition at the end of 2011. This project started me off in August 2011 with months of research on hydroelectric power.
The competition was about innovative ways to deal with storm water runoff. So, it was my first attempt at designing in home and community hydroelectric systems whose cisterns would be filled with rain water runoff, not a river, lake, reservoir, etc...
Richard Kohler and Micah Smith (both architects) also entered the competition with entries of their own.
