Near Pangboche, I paid homage to Joel (Project Himalaya partner), tying katas around his chorten. Memories, both of the ceremony here and of the legend himself. The penguin/polar bear joke, the self-depreciating stories, the entertaining distillation of history books .... oh Joel!!
