Cefn Llecoediog Cefn Llecoediog is a traditional farmhouse set in eight acres of woodland in Snowdonia The upstairs rooms have electric radiators.

The house offers simple, practical, no frills accomodation of up to ten people. There are five bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen and breakfast/dining room with traditional stone flooring and multifuel Rayburn (plus electric cooker and microwave), a bathroom, shower room with toilet and additional separate toilet. The downstairs living rooms have either a wood burning stove or an open coal fire

in addition to electric storage heaters. There is a washing machine, and crockery, pots and pans, duvets and pillows are provided (but not sheets). The decoration of the house is basic but comfortable. It is a truly wonderful and unique place for walkers, young families and those wishing to escape from a fast paced and noisy world, but it is basic and not for those looking for matching furniture. Opposite the farmhouse is a barn which has a large open space and a table tennis table (perfect for rainy days).

is a great market town close to Cefn. The single high street is packed with independent and interesting shops and cafes. The town is known for its Wednesday market and antiques shops, but also has a leisure centre with pool, large children's playground, BMX track and several lovely walks around and about.

Tywyn is a lovely gem of a town. A visit to the Magic Lantern Cinema is a must. A true independent cinema where the popcorn is served to your seat, and the Secret Garden bar is waiting for you afterwards.

Tywyn is also where the Talyllyn Railway starts from. Fabulous steam train rides up to the Dolgogh falls and Abergwynolyn. It was the inspiration for Thomas the Tank Engine apparently!

Foodies should visit Proper Gander and The Salt Marsh Kitchen for some great local food.

Add in a beach, playpark and crazy golf and it's a holiday winner!

For a rainy day, we love Corris Craft Centre . Fabulous local craft businesses - candle making, pottery painting, chocolate bar making and locally made gin amongst others. A playground and a great cafe are the cherry on the top. Right next to King Arthur's Labyrinth where you can take a slow boat through an old slate mine. 20 minutes drive from Cefn.
