Did you know that? The rides must be booked in advance, of course. Even if you are not interested in the carriage ride itself, you are welcome to stop-by Wildwood Stables (inside Acadia National Park) to say 'hello' to the horses. 😉

If you’ve never been to DownEast Maine in the Fall and seen the acres upon acres of wild blueberry barrens, you’re missing something extraordinary. The colours (i.e., the blueberry plants turn deep red, orange, & purple) are incredible. 🍂

Maine is most famous for its lobster and harvests over 90% of the lobster supply in the U.S. (over 123 million pounds).

We’re coming to the end of another busy cottage rental season ☹️ and we are already prepping for 2025!

We just (as in yesterday) completed the terraced steps that lead from the cottages’ French doors/back deck down to the shoreline. We’ll be zhuzhing-up the fire pit area for next year and doing a more substantive bit of decorative landscaping. 🌾🌼
We hope to plant an herb garden in the old aluminum canoe (I say ‘hope’ because, no doubt, the deer will love it as well). 🦌

Of course, over the Winter, we’ll be making & painting the 2024 Commemorative Buoys for this year’s cottage guests and we’ll display those in the Spring. 😁
(Btw, if you’ve been a past guest and haven’t requested a buoy, please just message me).

Remember that returning guests receive a discount on your next stay!

We hope to see you next year!

Our sweet doe, ‘Momma’, is always within earshot. When I call, she knows that apples & tomatoes are on the menu. Pumpkins, in season, are another favorite! 😁
She often brings friends. Smart girl.

The ‘G’ Spot Maine

The ‘G’ Spot Maine is a private waterfront retreat located on the Atlantic Ocean in DownEast (northern coastal) Maine. It’s owned by Terri & Tim ‘G’, hence the name. ;) The large 3,800 sq ft chalet-style home is situated on four extremely (4) private wooded acres, directly on a tidal Atlantic Ocean bay, in the quaint fishing town of Milbridge, ME (pop 1,300 +/-). The ‘G’ Spot Maine offers nearly 400 feet of private shoreline, including a small private cove, and it’s within a short drive to many tourist attractions, including Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The ‘G’ Spot Maine is available only by request as a weekly vacation rental (May thru October) and also for long (4-day) weekend getaway bookings (October & early November) via Airbnb: https://www.airbnb.com/h/thegspotmaine. :) New for 2021 is our Little ‘g’ Cottage, which is the guest bungalow to The ‘G’ Spot Maine. It will be available as a private rental for two (or one) only ~ no children or pets ~ May thru October. Once complete, the Little ‘g’ Cottage will be available on Airbnb. http://littlegcottage.com/index.html We welcome you to visit the ‘spot’ for your next vacation or long weekend getaway! For additional info & FAQ’s, please visit our website at http://thegspotmaine.com. Thx!
