Extra class this week by my amazing friend, Sam, + new playlist of yoga classes for stress and anxiety. 💕
In this week leading up to the elections, let’s spread some good, calm energy and lead from a place of groundedness and peace. ✌️

Here’s a quick little variation on straw breath to tone your vagus nerve! You can absolutely do this without straw, just imagine you have one in your mouth and shape your lips in a small “o” 😯
1. Inhale fully through your nose.
2. Exhale through your mouth until you’re mostly empty.
3. Pause, close your mouth / remove straw.
4. Use your abdominal muscles to exhale the rest of the air out through your nose. (This part felt tricky the first few times I tried it, but I promise you can do it!)
Do a few rounds and see how you feel!
☺️
Here’s a mini practice for your Wednesday! 3 of my favorite core-focused exercises:
1. Tabletop with opposite arm and leg extension. Try to keep your pelvis and low back as stable as possible, like you’re balancing a cup of water on your sacrum and don’t want it to spill!
2. Side plank with arm threading under. You can do this one on your hand or with a knee down too. I love the extra instability the movement of the top arm creates.
3. Goddess squat with oblique elbow taps. Side to side movements always feel so good to me.
Any other favorites?!

I was going to save this reel for tomorrow, but Monday calls for a bit of lightheartedness.
Some bloopers from a recent class I filmed. You’re welcome. 😆 It’s always the intros that trip me up. Usually I can get it in 2-3 takes, but this day things just weren’t flowing. 🤣
Somehow, despite this 💩 show, the class I filmed was really good. For me it’s the overthinking that messes it all up; when I’m in the flow the right words come or I just move on. Definitely one of my life lessons.
Remember that behind the perfection of social media, there’s usually a bunch of messy stuff called life. And things become a lot more fun when you embrace every little bit. 💕🌟
