When I saw two grizzlies before sunrise, I knew it would be a good day. It already was. And Grinnell Glacier didn’t disappoint.

I’m profoundly grateful for the overwhelming beauty I encountered . As I sat on the bank of upper Grinnell Lake, my skin tingling from my plunge into its icy blue water, I couldn’t help but grieve for this spectacular place. Despite federal protection, this incredible landscape cannot shake the grip of climate change. What will happen when the largest glacier in the park melts and the lake dries up? Not only will future generations miss out on witnessing this natural wonder, but think of the effects on this vibrant ecosystem.

I’m not here to preach. Hell, I drove three hours to see it, so I’m part of the problem. But I do hope you all get out and see these amazing places before they’re gone. Perhaps if we’re inspired, we can all do our part to ensure they’re around a little longer.

I paddleboard. I practice yoga. I even practice yoga on my SUP. However, today was the very first time I’ve ever paddled to yoga class. Thanks for keeping me on my toes, Montana.🧘🏼‍♀️

Biked 16.5 miles on the Going to the Sun Road yesterday - what an exhilarating experience! Add it to your bucket list, it’s spectacular! Thank you for the sweet bike rental (they have e-bikes, too!) Wanted to get a ride in before the seasonal toll took effect today, and before the road is open to vehicles.

This is where it all began! When we moved to Colorado, we had no idea where we’d end up living, but knew we wanted to be in the foothills. . Despite never visiting the state before, we were drawn to Golden and spent our first few nights camping along the water at the Clear Creek RV Park (shown here - turn on 🔊 - shout out to all the cool peeps we met during our various stays there!). . While we live up on the mountain now, 30 minutes from downtown, we have a Golden address and are thrilled to call this amazing town our home. . This is footage from the monthly Golden Bike Cruise, another hopelessly adorable event that makes this such an amazing place in which to live, work and play. 💛
