Today we honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. Three of my favorite people proudly served our country. My late grandfather served in the Army and my dad and husband both served in the Navy.
I guess maybe that is why I love a man in a uniform! 😉
I also recognize the families of our veterans who also sacrifice so much for our country. Missed birthdays, recitals, holidays and nightly bedtime stories are missed so we have a strong military. So thank you to all the veteran families who have sacrificed along with their hero.

Today at our Ascend Conference we first heard from our Keynote Speaker, Laila Ali. What a found so interesting is her dad didn’t want her to box, asked her not to even. But she was determined and during her career he eventually realized he was wrong and apologized. She had so many inspiring things to say!
We were also very entertained by the co-host Carson Kressly, he is so funny!
No we are meeting with suppliers and getting pampered by them as well as making meaningful connections to help grow our business and make our clients vacations even better!

Happy King Kamehameha Day! King Kamehameha Day, a pretty big deal in Hawaii, falls on June 11 and celebrates the accomplishments of “Kamehameha the Great.” He’s credited with uniting the Hawaiian Islands in 1810. A highly revered leader, Kamehameha is honored each year with numerous celebrations across the islands. Downtown Honolulu hosts one such celebration, where hundreds of leis, at least 30 feet long, are draped over the a 15-foot statue of the celebrated ruler. Other celebrations include parades, a plethora of floral arrangements and, of course, the traditional Hawaiian hula. While I was in Hawaii we got to participate in a Hawaiian protocol at the Ahu'ena Heiau which is a National Historic Landmark and one of Hawaii's most important cultural sites. This site serves many purposes, including a structure dedicated to Lono, the Hawaiian god of peace, agriculture, and prosperity.
