Today I'm working on a special vacation to Italy. We are finding the perfect balance between history and romance and schedules and free time. I love helping a family or couple find an itinerary that gives everyone a little of what they want to see or do during a trip. That is the beauty of working with a professional who has relationships in destination. You tell us all of the things you want and we put together the perfect itinerary with the things you want and MAYBE some things you didn't know you wanted!
After an interesting flight home this weekend...I thought...why not make a fun cheeky post about flight etiquette...would you add anything to this? Do you agree or not agree?
On of my favorite parts of traveling is the FOOD! Trying new foods and flavors and chatting with the servers, it’s such a special part of the experience! I loved the food in Hawaii so much! If you followed my stories you know my goal was POKE EVERY DAY! I achieved that goal! Even on my last day because the Fairmont had poke on the breakfast buffet! One of most favorite things was pickled mango in soy sauce-sounds weird by it hit every tastebud in my mouth-sweet, sour, salty! (See the last photo)

My bags are SO FULL and so is
my heart! I thought I knew what Hawai’i was but you truly can’t understand a place until you have been there. It’s so so so much more than gorgeous beaches and mai tais!
But what I felt from the culture, the people, and the spirit of aloha is more beautiful than anything I saw!
I can’t wait to come back and bring my family and visit with friends. It is a long flight but it is 💯worth it!
Yesterday I woke up early so I could return my lei to the sea. As you may or may not know you don’t just throw away a lei. So I walked down to the water and as I tossed each flower in I gave thanks for the people and opportunities in my life. ❤️
We spent a short time in Hilo before heading to Maui! As we drove from OGG to our resort for the night, the beautiful Sheraton Maui (if you’ve been counting yes this is my 4th hotel!) we drove near the town of Lahaina. You can see all of the efforts to rebuild this special place. The exciting thing is that the Old Lahaina Luau has reopened and we enjoyed a beautiful and truly meaningful evening with them.
Just know that while Lahaina is rebuilding, that is just a small area of this gorgeous island. The rest of the island is open for business and needs your patronage.

I was invited by the Hawaiian Tourism Board to experience 2 islands—The Big Island of Hawaii and Maui! We will have a nonstop week of hotels, tours, and based on the menus I’ve seen, amazing food!

Over the last week I had the pleasure of visiting Walt Disney World with 3 other Magnolia and Palm Travel Advisors! We tested touring plans, checked out some resorts, enjoyed a newly reopened restaurant and floated in the pool!
