In my travel business, I provide high-end concierge-like services for clients who prefer personalized itineraries and unique experiences. It’s been a joy to help busy professionals crunch time and create memorable vacations for them. Most of my time is spent researching and hashing out logistics so that my clients can get back more time enjoying other parts of their life while also ensuring they use that well deserved PTO.

If you could take your BIG family anywhere in the world, where would it be?

For my big multi-generational family groups, I end up promoting a lot of Mexico and the Dominican Republic - especially since they are such quick flights from the midwest. 3 or 4 hours, and you're there!

What’s the last new restaurant you tried?

When you can’t travel - be a tourist in your own area! Last week I ate out a lot while visiting my dad in the hospital. Came across this gem - Jafra Mediterranean Restaurant in St. Peter’s MO and stuffed myself with kabobs and tzatziki sauce!

Last week I spent most of my time in a hospital room with this view, praying and waiting for a loved one to wake up and remember my face. It's not exactly the balcony view we all hope for but it gave me lots of time to think.

Time to think about how short time actually is.

Time to remember that we're not promised tomorrow.

Time to grieve time lost, and to find joy in the future.

I'm so grateful to report that my dad is awake and thriving, and now we get to make more wonderful memories together!

For those of you who have been following this travel gig of mine, I appreciate your patience and grace for my absence. I hope that today you are able to give your family and friends the hugs and love they deserve. Don't wait!

Experience the best of the best by booking a Cruisetour, which gives you 7 days on the ship, and three days exploring the Alaskan wilderness via train and bus. Booking early is key to getting the itinerary you want, as they WILL sell out early.

Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios is by far my favorite land. The attention to detail is unreal and you truly feel like you’ve been transported to another planet.

Kudos to my clients who embrace my geeky side and kindly sit through my tangents about why the should ride Rise of the Resistance first and then drink the blue milk.

It's very easy as a business owner to feel the need to post every little thing to appease the algorithm gods and reach every single person you ever know in hopes that they might consider your services.

Using social media for my own marketing has taught me a lot about myself and I think we all know by know how detrimental it can be despite it's amazing capacity to keep us all so connected.

All that to say that I've taken some time off recently and it's been great. I find myself scheduling in more me time so that I don't burn out again and again and again. I love that I'm growing strength in an area I thought I'd always be weak in.

If you feel me, this is your gentle reminder that it's ok to say no. It's ok to make a mistake and take your time fixing it. It's ok to grow slow and steady. We don't NEED to have everything everyone else has and what we do for income does not dictate who we are as a person. Make time for things you love. Reach out to people who make you feel welcome and included. Hold the hand of your husband of 14 years. Life is short. 🧡🧡
