Fully guided private tours of Station and Martindale Hall yesterday with Anita and family. Lunch with stops to look at the shearing and some of the amazing Canola crops growing and the riveting stories of Horrocks and his murderous camel. Bottled History or the Nomads tour for those looking for more than a wine tour.

Taken 3 years to finally do this tour. for a fully guided tour and tasting, lunch followed by a Mintaro town tour the out to where we saw the shearing shed alive for again what must be close to 180 consecutive years of shearing. We went to the other Valley for a tour with Scott And Sherene. Tim started our day with a smile and warm welcome, next down to , we ran into Bridgette from, another great way to tour Barossa. Brilliant weekend with 6 Melbourian Ladies on a Clare Valley Tours Mystery Tour over the weekend. Adelaide pickup Saturday morning, tastings, lunches, bikes, laughter, walking, timeout and dropping them at Adelaide Airport to head home. Thanks Sue for choosing to go On Tour with Mr Willson.

What to do on a wet rest day when on the Bike Sa Gourmet. They say ‘when in Rome’, but it really means when in Clare one joins Mr Willson on a day of fun n facts. for a fantastic and lots of fun tasting, appreciation and discovery of wine making, then across to Mintaro for ole world charm and lunch , found a lookout we could lookout from on the way to for afternoon tea, tour and a wine before winding our way home past some magnificent canola crops at dusk.

The last two weeks we’ve seen a bit of country. Southeast to the upper Flinders Ranges. Yesterday l took a group of young ladies to Operation Flinders on Yankaninna Station. Weather was good up there, heavy rain and winds at Hawker on return.

John A took the Grape Express out and about yesterday with 14 on board, Lorna drove for Haley for a day in the Valley with a group of friends and l took Clare Garden Club to Elizabeth, Hewitt and Sandy Creek to look at private gardens. Rained when driving sun shone at the gardens, such things happen when travelling with Mr Willson 😂😂

Last week was the U3A, this week a 4 day South East tour with local Farmers. Many thanks to Drought Innovation Hub, Peter Hooper Consulting and Sam Trengove Consulting. Brilliant week with many on farm insights from progressive farmers, travelling off the major highways we saw some majestic sights with big gums and vivid Canola crops. We finished with a tour of Homewood Bagshaw in Mannum. Great to be back out there doing what we do best.
