At Lasting Legacy Video (LLV) we help you leave a lasting personal or professional legacy through creating video time capsules that document your life experiences--both achievements and failures--which help those for whom you want to leave a legacy. They may be concerned about upsetting people with their candor, revealing sensitive experiences, or have never been prompted in the right way. They al
so may just haven’t made the time to engage in such a personal project. Most people wait until the moment has passed to preserve legacies— and then it may be too late. Everyone has a story …but most people could use the assistance of an impartial witness and facilitator to serve as a ‘story catcher’, i.e., someone who can capture and synthesize personal narratives in a 20-40 minute documentary. Our video capsule will enable our clients to preserve and record their personal narratives (or arrange for one to be done for family, friends and associates) and also benefit from professional editing of the various recollections or streams of consciousness, to produce an enduring and meaningful personal narrative. Owner, Molly Secours (founder of One Woman Show Productions) and her associates have over 30 years experience at gathering treasured stories and writing, directing & editing personal narratives worthy of being treasured and preserved for generations. As owner of Lasting Legacies Video , she and her team possess broad experience and professional skills in the commercial world producing Public Services Announcements, TV ads & music videos, as well as documentary films. The owner also has conducted wide-ranging interviews with individuals about not just their achievements, but about highly sensitive subject matters, including difficult family and company issues, imprisonment, substance abuse, and end of life challenges. The interview subjects have been of all ages, races and divergent socio-economic backgrounds. The owner has a demonstrated ability in making interviewees feel relaxed, comfortable and ‘at home’ in front of the camera during the interview process, which is crucial to an effective end product. Lasting Legacies Video (LLV) expects great success in capturing moments on film that would otherwise be missed. LLV has already garnered personal and professional contacts in 5 cities who are ready to assist in marketing to friends, family, colleagues and business associates for the initial start-up phase. This is the owner’s anchor business, enabling her to continue to engage in the type of heart-centered filmmaking that inspires, heals and transforms.
