Depending on which of our tours you are interested in joining, each one lasts approximately between 3 to 4 hours. Mobile Photography Tours were initially photography walking tours and photography workshops developed by my self Martin Bonnici in Melbourne, 2006. I look forward to telling you all about the island's rich history and helping you capture your adventures like a pro!

Grand Ballroom Palazo Parisio

This is the Grand Ballroom in Palazo Parisio and it is breathtaking to see in person. It is open to the public and you can get to this village by bus. Yet another location that you should try to get to if you have the time.

Old Fruit Truck, Rabat.

Try to have your camera ready or easy to get to. In this photo, I was walking past St Paul's Basilica in Rabat and this fruit truck was set up, he is often there on one of the days in the weekend.

Shots like these are called pick up shots, because we pick them up as we are walking around. Pick up shots always make for great shots to add with other photos you might take to help add an ambiance to your story/trip.

San Anton Gardens and Palace, Attard.

These grounds have a history that you might find surprising. Princes Victoria Melita was born here in 1876, she would later become the Grand Duchess of Russia. I had the great privilege of being the official photographer to her grand daughter Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, from these services I was made a knight of St Stanislas and minor peer of the Imperial Russian House of Romanov.

Now this palace is the official residence of the president of Malta.

A lot of Maltese love these gardens and it is easy to understand once you walk around here.

Inland Sea Dwaja, Gozo.

If you visit Malta "please" do yourself a favour and get to Gozo, it is beautiful. Whilst you are there go to a place called Inland Sea Dwaja in this picture. The surrounding landscape are amazing, also for fans of G.O.T, this is one of the areas where Game of Thrones was filmed.

Manoel Island,

Manoel Island sits in the Marsamxett Harbour, it's an amazing location that I shoot in quite a bit.

It's history is it was commissioned and constructed in the 1720s by the 66th Grand Master of the Knights of St John, de Vilhena. Today the fort is closed to the public but one can walk about the island and enjoy the views. It is a walk I would highly recommend, in summer, take some swimming gear with you.

Mdina ditch.

This is a great little walk through the dry ditch around Mdina. You can get a great view around the bastions from a different perspective. In this shot you can see the city gate.

Porte des Bombes

It was constructed as the advanced gate into Floriana, construction was completed in 1721, it was renovated in. the mid 1800s.

If you travel to Valletta by road, depending on which direction you come from you will most likely come with Porte des Bombes.

It is an impressive site to see. One very important thing, "DO NOT" attempt to photograph it from the road, it is on a major road and cars zoom around on the road. I shot this from the footpath to the side.

Morning at the red tower in Mellieħa Malta.

There is good reason Saint Agatha's Tower is known as the Red Tower.

In days gone by, manning this post would have surly been considered a station of hardship. The reasons being the lonely position of this tower in the far north of Malta. It would have taken some time to get help if needed from the number of marauding pirates and other brigands operating in the area, these pirates were usually from the south of Malta and or the south East. These days at least for me, this area is now calm blissful.

History info for those interested.

St. Agatha's Tower was built during the reign of Grand Master Fra Jean Paul de Lascaris in 1647. It was constructed to guard and protect the straits between Malta and Gozo and was the knights’ primary stronghold in the north west of Malta. St Agatha is an Italian saint from Sicily. Along with Saint Paul, Saint Agatha is the other patron Saint of Malta.

Saint Clement Gate, Cospicua.

One of the Three Cities, Cospicua also known by its titles Città Cospicua AND also known as Bormla is part of something called the Coyttonera Lines.

This is a series of fortifications built b the knights of St John in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was a defensive line to protect the Three Cities of Birgu, Senglea and Cospicua from landward attack from the enemies of the day.

Saint Paul's Grotto

This is yet another location among many that I would recommend. It is traditionally said that this is where St Paul stayed when he was in Malta in 60AD.

The Grotto, Catacombs, WWII shelters and Wignacourt Museum have a lot of items from throughout history. The Wignacourt Museum as a total site has some of the history that is intrenched within the Maltese history. For those who do the Mdina and Rabat tour that I offer, this site is included.

Rabat streets.

I shot this photo about 12 months before this wretched pandemic hit the world stopping us all from traveling among the misery it has caused too.

This is just a simple shot of a motorino in the Rabat side streets but it looks great. It gives a very Southern Mediterranean feel to the photo.

St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

This is one of the great interiors of the world and in my opinion it is jaw dropping. On this particular evening I was the official photographer to the Grand Duchess of Russia, actually I was the official photographer for H.I.H visit to Malta. This was a truly magical evening. On a side note, I am very proud to say that I was knighted for my services during this visit. You can find out more information about that if you wish on my website in the bio.

When you walk. into the Co-Cathedral, keep in mind it is part a gigantic art gallery, part monument to the knights who are buried here and also a place of worship.

Some simple rules to help you out here, wear your bag or backpack on your front "do not" use your camera flash and take the time to enjoy this symphony of baroque mastery on pretty much all levels.

Palazzo Castelletti, Rabat.

When you are out exploring new places don't forget your camera. Always keep in mind that your safety should come first. Why am I saying that? Well always remember to look up and down. Here in the Maltese Islands there are many Coats of Arms from various noble families, knights and Grand Masters of the Knights of St John. They make an interesting visual story for your social media posts and stories.
