The Pacific island nation of Palau has banned fishing, mining and drilling in 80% of its waters, allowing stocks to replenish and overflow into surrounding marine areas. Today less than 8% of the world’s ocean is in marine protected areas, or MPAs.
People on the Pacific archipelago of Palau firmly believe in the old saying, "We do not inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children."
For centuries, they have been managing their delicate marine ecosystem sustainably through the practice of "bul." This involves making certain parts of the reef off-limits to fishing during spawning and feeding to allow its 1,300 species of fish to thrive.

The stunning Golden Bridge,Vietnam.
Like a golden thread supported by two giant hands,it dominates a breathtaking view.It's called Golden Bridge,in Vietnam,among the Ba Na Hills,1,400 metres above sea level.Having 150m length and 5m wide, the bridge was inaugurated in June 2018. It was built to connect the cable car station to the nearby gardens, one of the attractions of the resort.
