A few weeks ago I experimented with dying coffee filters using different substances. This coffee filter in purple was dyed with alcohol inks. The book page was splattered with paint and left to dry. I cut both the coffee filter and boo page into strips and wove them together. I'm so happy with the look of the weave I don't want to add to it.

I have a pretty collection of circles that I have cut out over time and used a few as the background on this card. 12/61

It seems that I have already lost count 😂 this should be 9/61@!$ post number 2 today to get caught up. The background is done with a stencil and acrylic paint over watercolour. The next layer is wall filler through a stencil that I fussy cut. The little frame for the word is stamped over a gel print

I'm curious if any of you play with mixed media? Id so I'd love to see something you have made. this is 3/61. The yellow bits are wall filler colored acrylic paint and put through a stencil.

this is 2/61 I used a gel plate with paint on an oversized sticky label then rubber stamped a border and used scraps for the letters.

Hello to you all! I hope everyone is well. I recently made a junk journal and found a new use for one of my buttons. I was inspired by something I saw on YouTube. I picked up some elastic and string it through a button to make a closure for the journal. Thought I'd share in case you need another idea for your button collection.

Hiya to you all! I gifted myself some watercolours and time to play. This winter season isn't always easy or fun. I wish for you all moments of calm and grace for yourself. The new year is looming and with it we are told all the change it will bring. In practice it's another day and we take another step and another breath. Take care of yourself!
