So you had a great Disney World vacation and now you need to decide where to go next? I have ideas!! Which one would you choose?

--Disneyland. The parks in California are both similar to and different from the Florida parks. It's so much fun to experience both and compare them!

--Disney Cruise. This is the perfect next step after a Disney World trip. My family thinks Disney cruises are even more fun than the Disney parks!

--Universal Orlando Resort. If you enjoyed the theming and the rides at Disney, you will most likely enjoy what Universal has to offer as well! Universal provides even more thrills and some incredibly immersive themed lands.

--All Inclusive Resort. Disney World is fun but it's not always relaxing for mom and dad. All inclusive resorts are great for the whole family, providing drinks and relaxation for the adults and plenty of activities and fun for the kids.

--Go back to Disney World. Repeat trips to Disney World are my favorite! The first trip is fun, but it can also be stressful and full of pressure. When you go back, the pressure is off and you can truly just enjoy the experience.

This family conquered a tropical storm, the intense Florida heat, all four Disney parks and the new Lightning Lane system and ended up with a great Disney World vacation!

With the new Lightning Lane system, we talked a lot of strategy before they left, and I got a detailed trip report when they came home. I love this part of my job and the collaboration that happens when my clients and I work together to plan their dream vacation. So much fun!!

It was a whirlwind trip, but I had a good two days at Disney World. The purpose of the trip was to get firsthand experience with the new Lightning Lane options, so that I can better assist my clients. This is why I travel!! I go and experience these things for myself, so that I can provide the best service and advice to my clients.

Today is the 10 year anniversary of Diagon Alley opening at Universal Studios Florida.

Shhh... Silence your screams if you want to survive this terrifying post-apocalyptic world, where creatures hunt down anyone who makes a sound.

A haunted house themed after the "A Quiet Place" movies is coming to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal this fall. Would you be brave enough to try it? I loved the movies, but I don't know if I am brave enough to experience the movie in real life?! 😱😱😱

This is just one of 10 haunted houses available during Halloween Horror Nights. It's not for the faint of heart (recommended for ages 13+), but if you enjoy a good scare, this special event will provide all the spooky, scary, creepy and horrifying fun! This family had a great few days at Disney World last week with all of these cute little ones in tow!

A couple of things that can add some complexity when planning a Disney World trip:
traveling with a large family group and traveling with young kids. And sometimes, like for this family, it's both! It was a pleasure to work alongside this group to plan a trip that was the right fit for their family and needs.

Let's talk LUXURY Disney World vacations! If you want to experience the best of the best at Disney World, there are a couple of things you will want to include with your vacation package.

First-- Club Level. Deluxe resorts at Disney World offer exclusive club level rooms that give you extra perks. The biggest perk: access to the resort's club level lounge where you can get complimentary food and drinks all day, every day!

Second-- VIP Tour. With a VIP tour, you get your own private tour guide who will take you to the front of all the lines in all the parks. You tell the tour guide what you want to do, and they will make it happen for you. I have been able to experience a VIP tour, and it was truly magical! Girls trip!! It was a pleasure to help these friends plan a long weekend getaway in Cancun. We spent a good amount of time trying to find the right resort that would fit with their budget, and it looks like it was a hit. What fun for them to be able to escape reality for a few days and enjoy the warm sun, beautiful beach and food/drinks in Mexico! New week, new clients taking off for trips! Here's where my clients are jetting off to this week.

One family will be setting sail on the Disney Wish for a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas, including Disney's private island Castaway Cay.

Another family will be enjoying thr week at Disney World staying at Coronado Springs Resort.

I was supposed to have one more family travelling to the Dominican Republic this week as well, but unfortunately they had to cancel. The good news is that they purchased travel insurance for their trip and will be able to reschedule for a future date without losing any money. Everyone hates paying for travel insurance up front, but if you end up needing it, you will be SO glad that you purchased it! Trust me on this!!

Say hello to the newest member of my family…Hazel Rose! Hazel is a 9 week old shichon, aka a teddy bear puppy. We just brought her home today and she will keep us on our toes for a while I think. So if I am slower than normal in responding to your emails and messages, you can blame this cute little bundle of fluff!!

So many people tell me that they want to wait until their kids are old enough to remember the trip to take a Disney trip. But there is so much MAGIC in a Disney trip with little kids. Even if the kids won’t remember it (though they will through the pictures and stories you share), YOU will remember it forever!!

Wondrous Journeys

Disneyland Park just debuted a new fireworks show called Wondrous Journeys. The show is a part of the Disney100 celebration, celebrating 100 years of the Walt Disney Company. We got to see the show last Sunday, and I loved it! Maybe my new favorite Disney fireworks show??? That may be a bold statement, as I have been partial to Happily Ever After at Disney World for a few years now. But Wondrous Journeys was really good! The fireworks are really not all the spectacular with this show. But the projections and the music are amazing. The projections feature clips from every single animated movie ever made by Disney. And the music was so good! I loved the new theme song, It's Wondrous, and I also enjoyed the mashups they included with other Disney songs in the montages throughout the show. My favorite was the "I Want" section and I'm including a clip from that part below. The only disappointing part was that there was some kind of issue with the flying parts of the show. The Blue Fairy (from Pinocchio) and Baymax are supposed to fly over the castle. We saw something come out during the Blue Fairy part, but then it stopped and went back. Baymax didn't fly either. Guess we need to go back again to get the full experience!! I will post a few more video clips from the show in my stories as well! However videos do not do it justice. You really need to see it in person...only at Disneyland!

A peek at Enchantment, the current Magic Kingdom fireworks show, which will only be showing through April 2. So not much time left to see it! But the good news is that my all time favorite show, Happily Ever After, is coming back on April 3! It’s like Enchantment…but so much better!
