Fri 30th Aug - Introduction to Bushcraft (tailored for aged 10+, but all welcome)
Sat 31st Aug - TBC (one or the other, depending on interest/bookings)
Sun 1st September - Bushcraft Progression (for those who have completed the Introduction course or attended one of our school sessions)
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

We've got the go ahead from Hoghton Tower & we're excited to announce that we will once again be running our Family Bushcraft Sessions there this August!
🌳🤠🔥⛺️🪓🔪🍡🌳

Join us in the shadows of this incredible venue, steeped in history, where we will take you on a journey into the world of Bushcraft & Survival from modern day back to the iron age.

Which courses run on what day is TBC, but they'll be from Thursday 29th August to Sunday 1st Sept.

Had a fantastic day at the Coupe Green Family Fun Day & Artisan Market!
The tent pitch challenge was great & loads of marshmallows were toasted.

I've had a fantastic two weeks working with the pupils of Coupe Green Primary School!
The kids were great; they tried loads of Bushcraft activities & every morning many of them couldn't wait to come & tell me that they'd been practising their new skills at home 🤠🔥🪓

Today we hosted our first Bushcraft Birthday Bash & it was fantastic!
There was dens, knives, fire & marshmallows, with a side serving of dry roasted crickets 😅
(& while they're 'not that bad'... I found a downside to leading from the front & setting the example)🤠🔥🪓🦗

So excited for the week ahead!
Just been down to the woods, on what looks like the worst weather day of the week... & it was lovely 🌳🌲🌳
Absolutely hammering down, yet barely a drop got through the woodland canopy & now all the shelters are up, we're good to go!
Can't wait to meet you all 🤠🪢🔥🪓

Lancashire gets approx. 180 days of rain each year🌧, add to that all the time you're at work & it all seems a bit naff 👎.
Don't waste your life waiting for the rain to stop - grab your wellies & get outside!
Our Bushcraft Experience Days take place in woodland,
with shelters above your heads - so 'if' it rains, not only will you keep dry(ish), you'll also have the woodland-rain serenade playing in the background.
Running 1st - 5th August, these are a great way to connect with nature, bond with the kids & try something new.
