Wild Peas Camping offer Affordable, Assisted Camping Trips for those who fancy camping, but maybe don't own all the gear, or feel a bit put off at the hassle of planning it all. On our trips, most of the kit you'll need (including tent) is provided and help is on hand to help you get set up & settled in. Although you may see a lot of posts about Parent & Child Trips, don't worry; that is our main

target market, but we also cater for adult groups, families, youth organisations, adventure seekers and the rest.

In May last year, we attended a foraging session with Forest Horizons in Cuerden Valley Park; where we were lucky enough to stumble upon a veritable feast of Chicken of the woods.
This weekend I returned & found the huge tree had suffered a fracture, then today I found it is no more...

Today I heard 30 minutes of a child sulking & crying because he wasn't allowed his iPad, he even said "what am I supposed to do if I can't have my iPad".
This made me sad, not because I was on his side, but because there's a damn sight more to life than tech, especially for kids with a youthful imagination.
(p.s. our bushcraft courses spark their imagination & encourage finding their own adventures... Outside the house... Imagine the peace 😉)
