Disney recently announced the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returning this fall to Disney World! This is a separate/hard-ticket event occurring select nights in the Magic Kingdom. Like the name suggests, it's suitable for all ages! Tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 15th for onsite guests and May 22nd for off site guests. Prices vary based on date/popularity. Generally speaking it gets more expensive the closer you get to Halloween. You have special shows, parades, trick-or-treating (for EVERYone!!!) and some rides are even modified to partake in the celebrations - like Space Mountain getting a fun new soundtrack! There are even some fun festive treats only available during the party, but there will be more to come on that, later. 😁

A new pirates tavern is coming to the Magic Kingdom! The Beak and Barrel, opening later this year in Adventureland, is being put together with parts of an old shipwreck. Designed for guests of all ages, this isn't going to be an adults-only space! So far we only have artist renditions but I'm loving the anchor chandelier suspended from the ceiling. 🦜🏴‍☠️

ADULT ONLY AREA AT DISNEY!

There aren't a lot of adult only areas in Disney World but you can actually book a reservation at one beginning May 6th. The new GEO-82 lounge will be located in Spaceship Earth!

Some of their menu includes:
* Clarified New York Sour - bourbon, sherry, yuzu, lemon & red wine float
* Electron - mezcal, carrot, cinnamon, lime, orange bitters & pink peppercorn
* Peach Shrub Whiskey Smash - whiskey, sherry, peach & mint shrub and bubbles
* Funghi Flatbread - mushrooms, mascarpone, mozzarella, fontina, pickled red onion and black garden molasses.
* Assortment of wines, champagnes and beers

They will even have a couple zero proof cocktails!
* A Walk Through the Garden - Seedlip Garden non-alcoholic spirit, basil, fennel, lemon, orange bitters, celery bitters and bubbles
* Manhattan in the Morning - Seedlip Spice non-alcoholic spirit, Joffrey's cold brew, maple, verjus blanc, tart cherry and black walnut bitters.

What will you order? I was excited about the non-alcoholic stuff but honestly neither sounds good to me. The Funghi Flatbread looks good... just wish it had a better name. 😂

There are some magical promos that Disney released that you'll want to take advantage of!
* Looking to travel this summer? From June 29-July 31 Disney+ subscribers can get a discounted rate at All-Star Sports, Art of Animation, Port Orleans-Riverside, Saratoga Springs and Animal Kingdom Lodge on certain room types.
* For stays of 5 nights or longer you can save 20%-30% off the room for most nights from August 1st to October 11th.
* For packages of at least 4 nights and 4 days of park tickets you can get FREE DINING for most days in the following windows: Jun. 29-Sep. 30, 2025; Oct. 20-Nov. 1, 2025; and Dec. 6-Dec. 22, 2025. Value and Moderate Resort guests get the Quick-Service plan and Deluxe Resort guests get the Disney Dining plan. You can usually increase from the Quick-Service to the Disney Dining plan and just pay the difference if you're at a Value or Moderate.
* If you're looking to go early next year and have kids ages 3-9 they can get a free dining plan! To be eligible you need to purchase a room and dining plan for the guests ages 10+ in your room and then the plans for guests ages 3-9 will be free!

Yesterday we went to the Cake Bake walk up/to go restaurant. I’m sad we didn’t get a reservation there… next time! The cake is $22/slice but has multiple servings… and glitter. We got the coconut and it was to die for!

This morning we were back at Animal Kingdom for the second time this trip. We did Navi River Journey, the safari, Dinosaur, Expedition Everest and the safari again!
