Friday Wine Down

This past November we were in Paris and had an amazing wine pairing dinner. There were four of us, the chef, the sommelier, and 3.5 hours of heaven on earth. This is just one of the bottles of wine we had that evening. We are headed to Bordeaux in June and will have to see if we can find another bottle.

Where are we Wednesday?

This time we are showing off to one of our favorite countries, France. We were on a Rhone River Cruise in the French Rivera in November. The beginning of March we head to Paris for a training seminar. Then in June we es**rt a group of clients to Bordeaux France to explore the wine and food of southwest France. Things to know before you go.

Currency Exchange: Research the local currency and plan how you will access and manage your money. Consider using a credit card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees or exchanging currency before you leave. It is usually better to have the vendor card in the local currency the credit card company usually has a better exchange rate than the vendor. Double check with your credit card company to confirm.

This is just one of the little tips we talk to our clients about as they prepare for their trip. Let us know in the comments your go to suggestion for exchanging US Dollars to a foreign currency.
