is the longest night of the year on thirties ( or 21) and one of the greatest Iranian .
"Iranians have always liked happiness and celebration." They would their surroundings with lights at this night. They consider sun as a symbol of . Staying awake, Iranians wait for the sunrise to witness the sun rising up so that they can worship it. Eating and other ceremonies are done to stay awake.

We, Iranians have been celebrating Yalda night from seven thousand years ago until now. Our ancestors achieved the knowledge of chronometry and found out that the first night of winter is the longest night of the year.

One of the customs observed on Yalda night in Iran is divination by the Divan of . People open the Divan of Hafez with the intention of prosperity and welfare and refer to him for their inner intentions/ desires. In other areas of Iran, it is common to recite Shahnameh. Grandparents’ telling stories and memories is another pastime that makes this nigh even more pleasant for Iranian families. All of these ceremonies are done to gather families together in order to pass the night joyfully and pleasurably.

Beauty of the shore of Island.
⠀
Qeshm is the largest island in the Persian Gulf, with rocky coastlines that protects a mountainous and often beautiful interior. The coast is dotted with small villages and towns. Qeshm Island is free duty zone. Unlike Kish Island you need a visa for Iran if you are arriving from another country, you don't get it on arrival.
⠀�Qeshm Island is very long (approximately 150kms from east to west), and its main attractions are far away from each other, and therefore taxis are strongly recommended. Hitchhiking is also quite doable and some locals understand the word hitch (though pronunciations vary from hitch to heetch).

اطلاق نام کویر به این منطقه با توجه به آن که ریگزارها در زیر مجموعه مناطق بیابانی قرار میگیرند اشتباه است و بیابان خارا واژه صحیح است.

دسترسی

این ریگزار در حاشیه شرقی محور ارتباطی حسن آباد به ورزنه قرار دارد. از این رو از ٥ کیلومتری جنوب ورزنه تا حسن آباد میتوان به نواحی غربی این ریگزار دسترسی پیدا کرد. برای دسترسی یه ریگزار شرقی میتوان به صورت آفرود از میان ماسه ها عبور کرد و یا از شهر ورزنه حاشیه جنوبی رودخانه زاینده رود را ادامه داد تا به حاشیه شرقی ریگزار رسید. این دو مسیر فقط بوسیله خودروهای دو دیفرانسیل قابل دسترسی هستند. در صورتی که به منطقه آشنایی ندارید حتما از راهنمایان محلی استفاده کنید.

Bazaars of Mashhad

Mash had has three bazaars. The biggest , the two-storied Bazaar-e Reza (or Bazaar-e Bozorg), is 800 m long, 30 m wide, and one of the main shopping centers in the town. The crafts of Khorassan are all represented in the bazaar. All kinds of local souvenirs such as fur-cloak, turquoise, Carnelian ring, gold, perfume, saffron, pelisse, prayer-mat, and rosary may be found here besides a myriad of foreign articles. There are several escalators in the Bazaar, which take the visitors to the second floor. Thebazaar has two gates: one in Bayt ol-Moqaddas Square and the other in the l7th Shahrivar Square.

The next shopcenter is called Sara-ye Bazaar-e Reza, where products such as embroidery, knitwear, shoes, etc, are sold. Tthird bazaar, called the Kuwaiti Bazaar, is situated in the l7th Shahrivar Square, where vcategories of products are sold. Make sure also to visit a workshop where turquoises from the Neishabur mines are cut and polished. Bazaar is open 8 am to 8 PM, Saturday to Thursday. Saffron - Iran's 'Red Gold'
⠀
The scientific name of saffron is crocus sativus. The small perennial plants usually grow to a height of 10 to 30 cm. Each plant typically bears one to three flowers, and each flower has 6 beautiful purple petals.
⠀
The plant is famous for its crimson stigma, which are widely used in many cultures and cuisines. Saffron is highly aromatic, but it tastes slightly bitter. Geographical distribution of saffron in Iran includes Khorasan (Ghaenat, Birjand and GONABAD), Yazd, Kerman, Gilan and Mazandaran Provinces. In recent years saffron is cultivated in Tehran and Qom also.

The history of saffron’s cultivation in Iran (especially in Ghaenat) dates back to over 3000 years ago. As saffron is native to eastern Iran’s harsh desert environment, this colorful and precious plant doesn’t have branches or lots of leaves, just corms and flowers. They’re also known as red gold or desert gold in Iran. 110 – 170 fresh flowers are used to produce a gram of saffron. To produce a kilogram, 150,000 fresh flowers are needed. Demand for saffron’s taste, aroma and color, its increasing usage in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, as well as restrictions in cultivation and production, all contribute to the high price of the product. Iran on average produces 90-93% of total world production of saffron (between 200 to 300 tons a year). The main growing regions are the desert and arid areas of South Khorasan. In fact, saffron is one of the only a few plants that grow in this harsh condition. It only flowers twice a year – in November and again in early December. As saffron is native to Iran and has had a significant influence in its culture, the plant is a passion for many Iranians.

In addition to being used as a food flavoring, saffron is also used to dye fabrics by artisans in some countries and is used in large quantities.

مسجد نصیرالملک یکی از مساجد قدیمی شیراز است که در محله گود عربان و در جنوب خیابان لطفعلی خان زند و در نزدیکی امامزاده شاه چراغ قرار گرفته است. مسجدی که شاید زیباترین مسجد شیراز باشد و تماشای آن با شیشه‌های رنگی، طاق‌های بلند و کاشیکاری‌های زیبایش، یکی از آرزوهای هر جهانگردی به حساب بیاید.

The Nasir al-Mulk Mosque

This mosque is one of the traditional mosques in Shiraz. Its construction year began in 1876 and lasted for 12 years.

Because of its tiling and arching 1 , the Nasir al-Mulk mosque is the most beautiful mosque in Iran. The mosque has a wide courtyard which is located in north side. At the entrance, there is a large arch which has been decorated with colorful roof tiles. This mosque has two eastern and western prayer halls. The western prayer hall covered with bricks and most of these bricks have been decorated and is very beautiful. The roof of this prayer hall has placed on the stony pillars with helix on that, and two rows of six, for amount of 12 because of The Twelve Imams 2.

#ساوالان از کوه‌های مرتفع ایران است که در شمال غرب این کشور و در بین استان اردبیل و آذربایجان شرقی قرار دارد. ساوالان سومین قله بلند ایران (پس از و #دماوند) و یک کوه آتشفشانی غیرفعال است. ارتفاع قله این کوه ۴۸۱۱ متر است (در استان اردبیل) و در بالای قله آن دریاچه کوچکی قرار دارد. ساوالان به خاطر #آبگرم های طبیعی دامنه کوه، طبیعت تابستانی زیبا و پیست اسکی #آلوارس مورد توجه گردشگران است. همچنین برخی کوه ساوالان را محل بعثت پیامبر ایران، #زرتشت، می‌دانند نمونه‌ای از ان در کتاب چنین گفت زرتشت، اثر نیچه، مشاهده می‌شود که به پایین آمدن زرتشت از کوه ساوالان اشاره کرده است. و از این نظر مکانی #مقدس و مورد احترام است که حتی در میان بومیان و عشایر منطقه به نام آن قسم یاد می‌شود.

In the gallery in of in the , an Iranian tile is displayed. The tile, according to Dr. Mehdittodjat (the former Deputy Minister of Culture and Higher Education of Iran), comes from the Golestan Palace. It comes from the entrance to the Brilliant Hall and was probably a reject (or may have been retrieved) from the rebuilding of the palace in the period 1867-92. It was found, smashed beneath a gatepost in Shipley by Mr. and Mrs. , who kindly donated it to the Museum. The plaque has been set in plaster, and unfortunately not all the glazed decoration survived.

قله #زبله - گرگان (روستای زیارت) - استان گلستان
�⠀
یکی از قله های زیبای مشرف به روستای زیارت (در شرق روستای زیارت )و شهر گرگان ، قله زبله است. این قله از نظر چشم انداز بسیار زیبا و کم نظیر است و برای رفتن به آن هم از روستای زیارت و هم از سرعلی آباد می توان رفت. البته از رودخانه پیر شیخ هم می توان صعود کرد که هر کدام زیبایی خودش را دارد. ارتفاع قله زبله ۲۵۳۷ مترمی باشد. و با برنامه زمانبندی دقیق می توان طی حدود ۶ ساعت به این قله رسید. در ضمن فاصله روستای زیارت از شهرگرگان در حدود ۱۰ کیلومتر است. دامنه شمالی کوه و قله زبله که مشرف بر شهر گرگان است پوشیده از جنگل است.

•••••• Babak Castle, East Azerbaijan قلعه بابک - شهر کلیبر - آذربایجان شرقی قلعه بابک که به نام‌های قلعه بابک، دژ بابک، بذ و قلعه جمهور هم معروف است دژ و مقر سردار تاریخی ایران، بابک خرم‌دین بوده است که در هنگام قیام بر علیه دستگاه خلافت عباسی در قرن سوم هجری ساخته شده است. مسافت راه کلیبر به قلعه حدود 3 کیلومتر است و به هنگام عبور باید گردنه‌ها و گذرگاه‌های خطرناکی را پشت سر گذاشت. قبل از رسیدن به دروازه قلعه و ورود به بنای مستحکم دژ باید از معبری عبور کرد که به صورت دالانی است و از سنگ‌های منظم طبیعی شکل گرفته و تنها گنجایش عبور1 نفر را دارد و دو نفر به سختی می‌توانند از آن بگذرند. فاصله این معبر تا باروی قلعه در حدود 200 متر است و مقابل آن قرار دارد. از همین نقطه است که صعوبت راه و ابهت خاص این قلعه رفیع و موقعیت خیره کننده آن بیننده را به اعجاب وا می دارد. Babak Castleis a large citadel and National Symbol of Iranians on the top of a mountain in the Arasbaran forests, which is located 6 km southwest of Kalibar City in northwestern Iran. It has been identified as the stronghold of Pāpak Khorramdin, the leader of the Khurramites in Azarbaijan who fought the Islamic caliphate of Abbassids.[1] Iranian Azarbaijanis gather at Babak Castle during the first weekend in July for the annual commemoration of Babak Khorramdin.
