Stunning detached Highland Holiday Home in a highly desirable riverside location in beautiful Glen Strathglass, two miles from the village of Cannich. Surrounded by open highland countryside, this riverside house has an elegant sitting room with impressive fireplace, beamed ceiling and doors out to the balcony which overlooks the River Glass. al for a large family or group of friends who want to spend time together in some of the most beautiful highland glens, and perhaps fish on the river that runs right by the house. There is excellent Salmon fishing on the river with the season starting on 01/07 through to 15/10, with the best Salmon runs August and September . First class Trout fishing also There are four generously proportioned bedrooms, one on the ground floor, and the fitted kitchen is adjacent to the dining area but also has a convenient breakfast bar. The large open plan living area of this house has an abundance of windows, and is a perfect place for a proper get-together around a roaring log fire. A pretty landscaped garden surrounds the property, and to the back is a lawned area and gate giving access to the riverside. There is also a free-flowing burn running along the garden boundary. The village of Cannich is a short drive and has good local services, and lively pubs are available in Beauly some 9 miles away. There is so much on offer here, from river fishing or boat fishing on a number of close by lochs, also first class Deer Stalking. Munro Bagging with exciting munros at the head of Glen Strathfarrar and around Glen Affric. For less strenuous walks there are properly-formed paths available at the national nature reserve at Glen Affric. The great outdoors awaits, but the luxury and comfort of your Glen Affric cottage will be very welcoming at the end of a long day.
