The village of Cannich is a short drive and has good local services, and lively pubs are available in Beauly some 9 miles away. Munro Bagging with exciting munros at the head of Glen Strathfarrar and around Glen Affric. For less strenuous walks there are properly-formed paths available at the national nature reserve at Glen Affric.
