‘Home Is…’ A travelling pop-up event that hosts a unique collective of independent interior designers and boutique homeware brands in core UK cities including Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. The event strongly focuses on working with new start-ups who are local to the area and are looking for an exciting and innovative way of bringing their designs to a consumer market.

‘Home Is’ not only an

exclusive shopping event but an interactive and educational activity in which visitors will have the unique opportunity to get involved in free creative workshops, mater classes and talks. The event will showcase a wide variety of emerging interior designers specialising in intricate wirework, lighting, ceramics, print and surface pattern to name but a few. There will also be a small hand-picked selection of high quality vintage furnishings and a Future Design area dedicated to supporting design graduates.

‘Home Is…’ was founded by creative events company, The Social Butterfly who have a wealth of experience in working and supporting small start-up businesses within the interior market. Based in Chorlton, South Manchester, The Social Butterfly is a young, dynamic, fast-growing events and communication company. Our core understanding of integrating effective marketing strategies is what has driven our niche events to success. In 2014 we look forward to fluttering our wings in additional cities Glasgow and Birmingham with events ‘Home Is in the Midlands’ and ‘Home Is in the Highlands’.
