We remember the lovely smells of coffee roasting, and taste testing your Honey Citron Tea at MaKen North (). A lot has changed since then, but your team's commitment and charge have not. Thanks and Aaron Moselle for telling the story of building the new forever home for Big Picture Philadelphia's El Centro de Estudiantes in Kensington creating new futures for Philly's youth. A home for students aged 16-21 who are resuming their education after dropping out of traditional high schools. The school offers an accelerated program that enables students to get their diploma in 1.5 to three years as well as participate in workforce training with the opportunity to graduate with industry credentials.

SHIFT is thrilled to welcome Robert Lewis to our team as Development Project Manager for our SouthWorks project in Ithaca, New York! 🎉🏢

Prior to joining SHIFT Capital, Robert served for eight years on the City of Ithaca Planning and Development Board, providing valuable insights and guidance on development projects in the area. In this new role Robert will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including entitlements, design, construction, and financing. His extensive experience and expertise will be invaluable in bringing this exciting project to life.

The NextGen allows us to be shoulder-to-shoulder with emerging developers to activate community-needed projects, support the growth & development of developers, & build level playing fields in the industry & throughout neighborhoods. Over the last 7 days, we have taken part in community celebrations at Sharswood Ridge. Grocery Outlet () celebrated its 1-year anniversary. Everest Medical Group () celebrated the grand opening of its urgent care and senior care facility. And, Santander Bank celebrated the grand opening of its Sharswood community bank.

Mosaic Development Partners JV/Shift Capital LLC and Philadelphia Housing Authority will be coming together to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of our Sharswood Ridge tenant, Grocery Outlet this Friday, July 28th from 11a- 3p.

This event will feature Community Health & Wellness services including consultations with health practitioners, financial literacy support, yoga and exercise stations. You can also expect vendors, a cooling station and a chance to enter for a shopping spree. We hope to see you there!

Right across from the Beury Building, we joined the celebration of the Butler Triangle groundbreaking at Broad and Butler. The community-led design will make the triangle a safer and greener community gathering spot, creating a long-lasting community asset. Congrats to the neighbors and partners who made this happen. We’re looking forward to the opening in a few months.

We stand with neighbors and partners in our belief and action that an investment in the community is an investment with the community.
