Hello friends! Our local community is hosting a very important and much needed event for the local street animals. They are breeding at a rapid rate and without proper care and nutrition many of them suffer from hunger, fleas, sexually transmitted diseases (yes, even animals can contract them), lame limbs, skin diseases and the mothers struggle to eat enough to produce enough milk for the puppies and kittens. It is heart breaking to witness. A local veterinarian has volunteered to help out by offering a low cost, low invasive procedure for the animals. This event is all volunteer based and all donation based. We would so appreciate your donations to help us spay and neuter as many as possible. So what have your BARK-packers been up to? PUPPIES!!!! We absolutely adore puppies!! We also love teaching how to properly care for newborn puppies. It is no easy task! When mamma dogs get pregnant at an older age and don't want to nurse them anymore, swift action must be taken as the little guys can become targets for aggression. Proper nutrition, tons of naps and lots of love is key to healthy pups! We were so happy to be a part of this journey and see these little fur balls grow so quickly! The hardest part is always saying goodbye and watching them go to their forever homes, but knowing they will be so loved and cared for is comforting 😽🐕

IT'S FINALLY OFFICIAL!!! We have our visas to stay here in Ecuador for another year! What does this mean for you?? It means we can confidently book those trips with you and not have to worry that maybe mid-trip, Ecuador says they don't want us here. No more stressing or worrying for us! We are beyond excited to get to stay and see more of this beautiful country and have all sorts of snuggle parties with all the furry friends!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding through this incredibly long, drawn out process! It's been great getting to meet so many people and serving those of you that had trips before our expiring visas! We cannot wait to see you again and also meet more of you! Cheers!!

Waiting on our visa like...

We are so close but the process feels overwhelming! Very much like looking down into a vast volcanic valley! We look forward to getting word of approval so we can finalize our requests for mid August and on! Can't wait for this process to be finished!🐾

We are gearing up to visit Quito! We are so looking forward to seeing that historical city and exploring all that it has to offer! If anyone needs a quick, last minute sitter in that area just let us know! 🐕

We are feeling the love over here! We are so happy to have grown our dog pack this last week!

2 adorable pits with so much love and energy! These 2 kept us so active this past week and we absolutely loved it! So many kisses, jumps, playing and walks on the beach! What could be better??!
