Red Snapper with Creamy Creole Sauce 🌶️🐠

Ingredients:

2 Red Snapper Fillets
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tbsp. Butter
2 tbsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
1 tbsp. Creole Seasoning
1 tsp. Smoked Paprika

Creamy Creole Sauce:

1/4 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Chicken Broth
1 tbsp. Tomato Paste
2 tbsp. Chopped Fresh Parsley
1/2 cup Chopped Bell Peppers
1/4 cup Diced Onions
1/4 cup Diced Tomatoes (optional)
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
1 tbsp. Creole Seasoning

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix salt, pepper, Creole seasoning, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.
Rinse the red snapper fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel. Evenly coat the fillets on both sides with the seasoning mix.
Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned fish and sear for about 3 minutes on each side.
Transfer the fish to a separate baking pan and place it in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C).
In the same sauté pan, add butter without washing the pan. Add onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Sauté for 5 minutes.
Add tomato paste and heavy cream, stirring constantly until fully combined. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of chicken broth to reach desired consistency.
Add the remaining Creole seasoning and let the sauce simmer on low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
Pour the creamy Creole sauce over the baked fish fillets. Garnish with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
