Good Evening Parents,

I hope all of you are having a great summer. I would like to tell you about a Special 4 Day Skills Training Program that The Grundy Hoops Academy will be offering in the evening during the week of August 19th (August 19 - 22) at Montgomery High School.

This Skills Training Program is for BOYS & GIRLS and it will be run by both the Head Coach of Montgomery Boys Basketball, Kris Grundy, & the Associate Head Coach for Princeton University, Brett MacConnell. These four 90 minute workouts will be full of drills, competitions and game play.

Coach MacConnell and I will train players entering grades 3 - 5 from 5 to 630 pm and players entering grades 6 - 7 from 630 to 8 pm during the fours days of training (Monday - Thursday).

This year Coach Grundy and his staff will continue to offer camp from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on a daily basis (NEW END TIME). This will aid in the fundamental development of each and every player. Coach Grundy and his Division Winning & 14th Ranked Team in the State of NJ will once again be offering both Spring and Summer Camps & Clinics.

1.) Friday Night Skill Development is a 6 week program that begins on April 12th & concludes on May 17th

2.) Spring Break Elite Training - is a 4 Day (April 1st - 4th) Training Program over Spring Break from 8 am until 2 pm @ UMS

3.) Full Day Summer Camps - Register through the Rec. Dept. beginning on March 4th...Weeks of Camps this year are 6/24 - 6/28, 7/8 - 7/12, 7/22 - 7/26, & 7/29 - 8/2

The first week of GHA Summer Camp is now two months away, but spots are filling up quickly. As many of you know this past season was a historic one for Montgomery Basketball as the entire program (middle school, freshman, JV, & Varsity) went 70 - 10...Our MS Team won the Conference Championship, our Freshman team went undefeated, and our Varsity Team finished 25 - 4, won the conference championship (10 - 0 in Conf. play), won the Central Jersey Group IV State Championship, and finished the season ranked #16 in the state.All of these players trained with the GHA at some point during their basketball development and we are hoping that your child(ren) plans to do the same this summer. Each Full Day GHA Camp is for players entering grades 3 - 9 in September 2024 and the camp day runs from 9 am until 2 pm in the air conditioned Montgomery HS Main & Aux. Gym. We also offer after care until 5 pm for those parents that cannot pick their child(ren) up at 2 pm.Each week of camp is loaded with fun, prizes, and lots of basketball!!!! We truly hope that you plan on making The Grundy Hoops Academy a part of your summer.
