We made no big plans for Spring break, which turned out to be a Godsend. But we did explore @fortworthbotanicgarden 🤍💐🌷
Here’s a look at the day of adventuring close to home, which I believe is so important! Obviously, travel is my business and a huge part of my life, but I recognize that it isn’t feasible for everyone or that it isn’t always possible in certain seasons of life.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t get out and explore right where we live! If you’ve been here awhile, this isn’t your first time hearing this from me.
We landed at a new to us place the other day, and it was so, so beautiful and the kids even enjoyed it! Thank you @fortworthbotanicgarden for a truly beautiful day!🤩💖🌷

What a wonderful year 2023 has been both personally and professionally!
Don’t get me wrong, there had been some trials, tribulations, and consequences of bad decisions.
But I’ll forever hold onto the good and focus on the light✨✨
1️⃣January • Moved back home to Texas 🤩👏🏼👏🏼
2️⃣February • I visited NYC by myself and ventured to Israel & the Holy Land, both bucket list items. 🥰
3️⃣March • Ditched my Glasses forever—thank you LASIK! And enjoyed life.
4️⃣April • Celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Bora Bora!🏝️
5️⃣May • Family adventures close to home🌻
6️⃣June • Texas Coast Getaway
7️⃣July • Family vacation & client wedding in Costa Rica
8️⃣August • Holden & Heidi started school 🥹
9️⃣September • Several days spent in Mexico exploring new resorts for DWD clients.
🔟October • Friend getaway to Dominican Republic & crafty retreats!
1️⃣1️⃣November • Making our neighborhood feel like home.

What a year for DWD couples and travelers!
Here’s a look at all the places we went in 2023. Not counting all the duplicate destinations.
These are more than places on a map… these are dreams that have come true and an unimaginable amount of memories made.
The top destinations were Italy for families & honeymooners, Mexico for destination weddings, and Costa Rica!
As I we approach the end of 2023 I am looking forward to a 2024 full of dreams turned reality, fiancés turned spouses, and moments turned into unforgettable life long memories.
In the coming year, I’m hoping for more Mexico destination weddings, Maldives honeymoons, and South African adventures.
