We try to source the best products from independent (and as local as possible) producers to welcome our guests.
Alongside Floris products for all our guests, our welcome hamper includes;
1. An exploratory wine box from our partner vineyard
2. Tea from (courtesy of the amazing local deli )
3. Some of the best artisan coffee we’ve tasted locally
4. Always the best dried pasta from
5. Passata by made from organic Sicilian cherry tomatoes
6. olive oil - some of the finest cold pressed olive oil that you’ll find in Michelin starred restaurants around the world
7. And we couldn’t resist the .biscuiterie biscuits for the taste and the lovely image of chateau duras and L’Orangerie on the label. Again courtesy of the amazing 😍😂
Also, don’t forget to visit who have a great selection of wine and spirits (including No. 3, which is hands down the best) oh and ci**rs for a holiday treat

Kitchen garden almost all planted up.
3 different lettuces, 3 varieties of French beans, peas, artichoke, loads of different kale, three different chillies (because I can never find them here!) cherry tomatoes, marmande tomatoes and beef tomatoes, rhubarb, loads of herbs… let’s see what grows 😂😜
Paths to finish and irrigation system to fit and then let the season commence 😍

Easter ?
One of my favourite times of the year here. A swim in the heated pool, a leg of lamb from the amazing local butcher garnished with herbs from the garden and an Easter egg hunt in the grounds. ✅

A belated happy New Year from L’Orangerie!
Winter is feeling very long in London at the moment and I’m looking fwd to heading out and enjoying some sun in SW France soon.
We still have Easter and a couple of weeks in July available for those looking for an escape. We’re also running our food and wine retreat in May (ideal for a group of friends) so check out the details in our bio and DM with any queries.

Our new 5 day food and wine retreat (7-12 May 2023) is now available to book online. link in bio.
Wine expert will be leading two exceptional wine tours to the Right Bank Saint Emilion/Pomerol and another to the Left Bank Pessac Leognan, Graves and Sauternes. You will visit a mix of some of the most prestigious properties and some key dynamic small producers.
Highly sought after Chef , who’s currently working will prepare all meals from seasonal and local produce including two food and wine matched dinners with specially created menus in partnership with Nicolle Croft.
Guests will have plenty of time to enjoy the luxury of where they can relax by the pool, do some yoga, visit a local market, have a massage or just enjoy the views.
We keep the group size of our retreats small (8 people) so you can get the most out of the experience.

September is hands down the best month… those blue skies, the light and you don’t have to book to get into restaurants!
We’re thinking of opening up for half term & Christmas and New Year this year for the first time. A good idea?
