Our Saturday harvest for guests from the kitchen garden and we found a lovely note from our guest in June. Absolutely love this sort of thing 😍😍

The season has been really late this year, but we just had one of our tomatoes and they're the best we've had so far. first harvest people 😅😜

A brilliant day wine tasting yesterday in the Pecharmant region, not far from Duras.

Well worth a visit to Chateau Corbiac, not just for the amazing wine that's been produced here since the 1500s but for the stories from this incredible owner. 85yrs young and passionate about independent producers modernising and innovating to stay ahead of the competition. So many producers in the region are being bought out by big cooperatives who don't have the energy or passion that an independent producer generally has.

Our guests have absolutely loved doing wine tours around St Emilion and Pomerol with this year so we thought we'd try some wine tour weekends in October.

More details to follow but we're thinking Friday - Monday for up to 8 of your friends/family. You book the house, we arrange the tour on Saturday and for a local chef/cook to do a dinner for you on Saturday night and then you have a lazy Sunday by the heated pool.

We'll firm up figures and details but it will likely be £550pp for 3 nights so £4400 for the whole package.
